Joy Rossi's POV

We arrived in Chicago. I'm in the SUV with my dad, Zoe, and JJ. We're heading to the police department. Zoe slept during the whole travel. But I know that, once we'll arrive at the police station, she'll wake up to be breastfed.

We arrived at the police department. I get out of the car, taking Zoe's baby seat. Daddy takes Zoe's bag.

Spencer, Hotch, Emily, and Derek are in the other SUV. They arrive right after us. We enter the police department and we meet the sergeant.

"Hi. I'm Sergeant Smith. Thank you for coming."

"No problem. I'm SSA Hotchner. Here's SSA Joy Rossi, SSA David Rossi, SSA Morgan, SSA Jareau, SSA Prentiss and Dr. Spencer Reid."

"Nice to meet you."

"Is there somewhere where we can put our stuff and everything?" JJ asks.

"The Meeting Room is free."

He makes us sign to follow him. We arrive in a big room.

"You can use this room during the case."

"Thank you," Emily answers.

I put Zoe's baby seat on the round table. JJ and Spencer are hanging the pictures on the board. They also hang a map of the city. Emily is getting out the files. Morgan is coming back with a lot of other files. Aaron is talking to the sergeant. Daddy is bringing me Zoe's bag.

"Thank you for coming, Joy."

"No problem. It's my job," I say, holding Zoe who's slowly waking up.

"I know that it must be hard."

I look at him without answering. I sit on a chair, letting Zoe completely waking up. I know that she's going to cry once she'll be completely awake.

Daddy walks away to help the team. Zoe wakes up and starts to cry.

"It's okay Sweetie. Mommy's there."

I start to breastfeed her. Meanwhile, JJ walks to me.

"Will it be okay?"

"Uh... I think so."

"If you want, I can stay with you to help you. I'm sure it won't bother the team if I don't go on the field."

"If you want to stay, I won't force you to leave!"

She smiles. Zoe falls asleep, again. She's a great sleeper! I know that I need to go talk to the officers so I get up, trying not to wake up Zoe.

"JJ, can you give me Zoe's carrier, please?"

"Yes, of course."

She gives it to me and she helps me to set it. Once it's done, we get out of the Meeting Room to talk to the officers.

"Do the families of the victims are there? Is there any witness?" JJ asks.

"Yes, the families are there, but there's not witness."

"Thank you," I say, following JJ to talk to the families of the victims.

Before we enter the room, JJ turns back.

"Will you be alright?"

"Uh... Yes. I will. Don't worry!"
