Spencer Reid's POV

It's now 5:28am and JJ has been brought back to surgery so we're still waiting in the waiting room. I already called Sandy to warn her and to tell her that I'll call her back. Oliver is sleeping on Emily and Emily is sleeping, her head on her boyfriend's shoulder. I hear someone asking news about JJ to the receptionist. I turn my head and I notice Kate. She rapidly walks toward us.

"How is she?" She asks.

"She's still in surgery. She had a blood clot in her brain," Rossi responds for me.

I feel nauseous. I think I'm going to be sick. So I run to the washroom. I know David's following me. He rubs my back as I vomit.

"Are you okay, Kiddo?"

"Yeah... Thanks..."

Aaron Hotchner's POV

Kate walks to me and uncomfortably asks to talk to me, in private. I slowly move Emily's head. She wakes up.

"I'm sorry for having woken you up, Honey. I have to talk with Kate."

She makes me sign that it's okay and falls back asleep. I walk outside with Kate.

"So, what's wrong Agent Callahan?"

"First, with all due respect, could you stop calling me 'Agent Callahan'?"

"Uh... Yes, of course."

She smiles.

"I'd like to ask you something."

"Go ahead."

"I loved working with you for the last weeks. I loved how you all work as a team and I'm so impressed by your work! I don't know how you manage to arrest in average 1 criminal by week, it's just amazing!"

"Okay?"

"I would like to work for you. To be a part of your team."

"It would be an honor to have you as a part of our team."

"Seriously? That's all? It's because I planned to beg you and to sing you some songs to get in your team!"

I laugh a bit.

"No, seriously. I thought I would have to pass an interview or something!"

"You already did your interview. You worked with us for almost three weeks. I observed how you were working under pressure and you did pretty well!"

"Thank you very much, Agent Hotchner."

"Call me Hotch."

"Thank you, Hotch."

And we shake hands.
