Jennifer Jareau's POV

I hear Oliver crying. I turn to see what time it is. It's 8am. Emily is probably going to go downstairs with him. I fall back asleep because Hope and Jaeden aren't up yet.

Minutes pass and Oliver is still crying. I get up to see what is going on. I walk to the guest room and I slowly open the door. I grab Oliver and I look in the bed; Emily is not there. I walk to the bathroom, but there's no one in there too. I go downstairs and I let him play in the living room.

"Emily?"

I look in every room but I don't see her. Spencer comes downstairs with the kids. I see that her coat and boots are gone, but her medication is still there.

"Fuck..."

Spencer arrives behind me.

"What's wrong, Sweetie?"

"Emily is gone. But that's not the worst, she didn't bring her medication with her. Who knows where she is? What if she has lost her mind again and she's doing a huge mistake?"

"You should try to call her. I'll prepare the breakfast for the kids."

I nod and call Emily. After a few seconds, I hear the first words of her voicemail. I curse to myself and I call the others one by one.

"Hey, Derek! Sorry to wake you up. Have you seen Emily? Have you heard about her lately?"

He answers negatively and asks me why.

"I think she might have run away. I know it sounds stupid because she's an adult, but she didn't bring her medication with her and she isn't answering her phone. If I have any news, I'll call you back."

The other calls were approximately the same.

"Maybe she's at the hospital with Hotch," Spencer suggests, putting peanut butter on bread for the kids' breakfast.

I call the hospital and ask them if they have seen Emily. I describe her to them and tell them she must be with Hotch. But no one is with him.

"She's probably outside..." I sigh, a bit panicked.

Spencer softly grabs my face in his hands and kiss me.

"I'm sure she's okay. Don't stress too much, okay?"

I nod and I kiss him back before putting my coat and my boots on. I take my phone and Emily's medication.

I get in the car and drive about 45 minutes, looking for Emily. I finally find her. I quickly park the car and run to her. She's laid on the ground and she doesn't have her coat with her. I kneel in front of her and I shake her a bit to wake her up, but she doesn't move. Her lips her blue and her skin is very pale. Her pulse is slow and irregular. She must be in hypothermia. I call 911 and rush to the car to take a blanket. Once I put the blanket on her, she opens her eyes. She's shaking. She tries to say something, but only nonsense things get out of her mouth. She must be in shock. I try to warm her up, but she slaps me in the face. I painfully rub my cheek as the EMTs take Emily in charge. I give them her medication.

"Those are for her PTSD, her anxiety, her depression and her psychotic breaks. She should take them like right now."

Before the EMTs leave, they tell me that her body temperature is at 29°F and that if I had found her two minutes later, it would have probably been too late. I ask them if the baby is okay, but they leave as if they hadn't heard my question.

As Emily is brought to the hospital, I call the others to warn them that she's okay. I also call Spencer to warn him that I'm going to the hospital with Emily and that I'll call him back later.

I get back in the car and drive to the hospital. Once I arrive, I ask the receptionist about Emily and she tells me to wait in the waiting room. After a few minutes, a doctor comes and sits next to me.

"Mrs. Jareau? May I ask you a few question about Mrs. Prentiss?"

I nod, but I'm scared of the questions.

"Is Mrs. Prentiss doing better with her new medication?"

I nod.

"Do you think she attempted to kill herself yesterday? Or her baby? Or both?"

"I don't think so. Emily knows she's lucky to be pregnant with this baby, she'll do anything to protect her baby. I think she was trying to go see her fiancé at the hospital. He's in a coma."

"Is Mrs. Prentiss seeing a psychologist?"

"She is. She has her weekly appointment with him today."

"Okay. It will be all for now. Mrs. Prentiss will probably wake up soon."

"Wait!" I exclaim as the doctor gets up to leave.

He turns back.

"Is her baby okay?"

"She was lucky, but both are alright."

"Thanks, God..." I sigh.

"Room 65," the doctor says.

"Thank you."

I get up and I walk to Emily's room. When I enter the room, I see nurses watching her. Emily is covered by heat packs and blankets. She has more colors than 2 hours ago when I found her in the freshly fallen snow.

Emily slowly opens her eyes. The nurses check her temperature: 94°F, she's alright. They take away the heat packs and let her only a few blankets. Then they leave the room.

"JJ... What happened? Where am I?"

"It's alright, Emily. You've been in severe hypothermia and you're at the hospital, but you're fine."

A doctor comes to check on Emily.

"She can leave whenever she wants."

We both nod and the doctor leaves.

"Can I go see Aaron?"

"You sure you wanna see him now?"

She answers positively.

"Let's go then."

I help her to get up, and as she has difficulty standing, I help her to sit in a wheelchair and we get to Aaron's room.

But before we arrive at the room, we hear on the speakers:

"Code blue room 283! Code blue room 283!"

"Oh, my God! That's Aaron's room!" Emily sobs.

We see a lot of nurses and doctors running to his room. I rapidly walk to Aaron's room, pushing Emily's wheelchair. We see the nurses and doctors checking Aaron's vital signs, one performs CPR and one oxygenates Aaron with a manual ventilator.

"No... This can't be happening..." Emily cries, massaging her belly.
