Marco's POV
"I just can't believe I finally have one of these" I say still looking at my driving license. I finally got it. After years of driving without one and a trial that I couldn't have won without Aleksandra, now I can say I'm officially a driver.
"Finally you're a normal person" Marcel laughs. "Why didn't you tell Aleksandra about this?"
"I wanted to be a surprise. I'm going to her office right now" I answer happy. "Can I ask you something" I ask Marcel not smiling anymore.
"I'm listening" Marcel answers looking at me.
"Has Aleksandra talked with you about – you know, about what she did a few weeks ago" I finally say the words.
"No, every time I wanted to say something about that she just changed the subject" he answers making me sigh. Since Aleksandra killed that woman she hasn't been herself. She doesn't sleep and she is always at work. "She doesn't want to talk with Elise either" he continues to say.
"I'm worried about her" I finally confess. "I tried to talk with her but she gets angry every time I open the subject."
"You have to do something, man. You're her boyfriend. You need to make her talk" Marcel says giving me an ultimatum.
"Hello Fornell's girlfriend" I say giggling while I was leaning against Elise's office.
"Stop calling me that" she answers not annoyed by my remark.
"Guess who got his driving license this morning" I rhetorically ask showing her my new and beautiful driving license.
"I can't believe it! Congratulations, Marco" she says sitting from her chair and hugging me really tight. "Aleksandra didn't tell me anything about this."
"That's because she doesn't know about it. Actually, I'm here to tell her" I say pointing to her door. "Is she available" I ask.
"Yeah, but take care with her. Lately, she's been really angry" Elise warns me thinking I haven't noticed this.
"I will" I promise before knocking at her door.
"Elise! I told you I don't want to see anyone" I hear Aleksandra yell right when I opened the door.
"It's me" I whisper not knowing if I should enter or not.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Please come in" she says a little bit confused.
"If you're busy we can talk later" I say waiting for her reaction.
"No" is the only word she manage to say. "How was your day" she asks trying to smile.
"As good as yours, I hope" I admit looking into her eyes. She was smiling, but her eyes were full of smoldering anger.
"I did it" I say showing her my driving license. God, I was in love with my new acquisition.
"Really? Oh, I'm so proud and happy at the same time" she says honest while she was hugging me. "You can be my personal driver now" she giggles kissing me.
"Anytime you want, my lady" I answer kissing her back.
"What are you doing tonight? Maybe we can celebrate my success" I ask thinking that her answer will be 'yes'.
"I can't. I have to work at this case" she answers surprising me.
"Tonight also? Aleksandra, for the last weeks all you did was work" I say annoyed by her answer.
