Last Night

Last night was wondrous,
The longest conversation ever;
All because of a game,
Up till the morning we stayed.
Thought I could beat you,
Fair and square we went through;
Boy, was I awfully wrong,
You showed me you were strong.
You kept talking about worms,
Made me laugh it all off;
How you wished to be a butterfly,
Though a worm couldn't turn into one.
My armor was taken down,
My weakness spot you've found;
I used all of my words but,
You twisted them into your weapons.
Last night was wondrous,
It surprised me that we're so similar;
I can't find the right words again,
Maybe I don't want this to end yet.
