Indifference

The opposite of love is not hate. It's called indifference. You still love them even when you hate them.
I have heard this somewhere. Maybe you have, too. I'd say I couldn't agree more with the statement.
Love is such a strong word. It could awaken you and show you things you never knew. It could make you do stupid things over and over again. It could make you feel so alive and so breathless at the same time.
Hate is such a strong word too. It could ignite the flame in you and make you decide on stupid decisions. It could make you go crazy over something that's not even worth your time.
However, indifference is a whole different thing. It doesn't make you go through millions of thoughts at night. It doesn't consume your time and waste it away. It makes you do nothing.
Nothing is all it takes to describe how it is the opposite of love. Love is a feeling but so is hate. Yet indifference is indifference itself. It's not even a feeling. There's nothing to it.
People need to realize this more.
