Dear Lucas's parents,

I'm writing to you because I have a few things I need to tell you. The things I'm gonna tell you are all about your youngest child, Lucas.

One; my name is Athena Scarlet and I'm so madly, terribly, completely in love with your son. Thought you should know that. I've known him for years. I got interested in him the moment I first lay my eyes on him. And I've been in love with him ever since.

Two; your son is probably the kindest and the funniest guy I've ever met in my entire life. I'm so thankful to have him in my life. I'm so thankful he exists. He's always there whenever I need him during my saddest moments. He's always there to crack jokes that can always make me laugh. He always succeeds in making me smile.

Three; thank you for taking great care of him until he grows up into a good young man. Thank you for teaching him all the good things he needs to learn. Thank you for giving him a life he deserves. Thank you for his existence.

Four; I also want you to know that I'm in love with your son who would never love me back. Your son breaks my heart time and again. Your son always has his eyes on some other girl. Your son is never at fault because we can't always have what we want. The only thing I want from your son is his love but that's probably the thing he wants to keep to himself the most. Your son has a way of breaking my heart and making me fall back in love with him. He's just great that way.

Five; one day when he brings home a girl, promise me that she is a decent girl. She musn't wear revealing clothes and she has to know that he likes to spend his time playing games. She has to understand not to invade his privacy and she has to know when to argue and when to surrender. She has to understand that he's allergic to bananas and milk. She can't bring him to the amusement park just to play roller-coaster. She has to be loyal and she has to be matured in the way she handles a difficult situation. Promise me that he brings home a girl who's so much in love with him.

Six; my name is Athena Scarlet and I would like to say goodbye. There's a reason why he exists in my life and why I crash into his. I just don't know what the reason is yet. One thing for sure, he's made a huge change in my life and I won't trade it for anything. I really love your son but I can't afford to waste the rest of my life away loving someone who would never look at me twice.
