June 6

Marcus James Reynolds.

It was finally the day Marc had so impatiently waited for. Today Rabia was going to become his wife.

However Marc was nervous for reason unknown. He couldn't help but pace as his best friend and best man, William stood next to him at the altar.

"Will you stop it? I am going to kick you off the altar." William grumbled.

Marc threw William a glare but continued pacing. All the guests had arrived and were seated and everyone was waiting for the bride who was half an hour late.

"What if something happened?" Marc asked

"Relax. She is fine. She will be here soon." William assured his friend.

Marc was about to take out his phone and call Rabia when he heard the wedding march indicating the arrival of the bride.

There was a collective gasp from the audience as Rabia came into view. Her bridesmaid and maid of honor walked down the aisle and Rabia held onto Ralph's arm as she started down the aisle towards Marc.

Marc couldn't help but stare at his bride in awe. She looked like an angel had descended from the heavens above. She looked absolutely breathtaking in her off white wedding gown. It was strapless and hugged her curves at all the right places. The veil covered her face and was held in place with an elegant tiara on her head.

She reached the altar and Marc extended his hand as Ralph placed her hand into his hand.

"Take good care of her son." Ralph said as Marc nodded.

Marc helped Rabia on to the altar and they stood facing one another. Marc was so overwhelmed with the love he felt for the beautiful lady standing in front of him that he found it difficult to breath.

The minister started the ceremony and asked them to exchange their vows.

Marc said his vows first.

"Rabia, no words can express the love I feel for you but I will still try. You came into my life and gave my world a new meaning. You taught me the meaning of love. I didn't realize I was merely passing days and not living until you came and took my hand. I know forever is a long time but I want to spend every second of it by your side. You are my life and without you, I am nothing and hold no meaning in this world. You light up my world. I promise to love you and cherish you till my last breath." Marc slipped on Rabia's wedding band onto her ring finger.

"Marcus, I just want you to know that no matter what tomorrow brings, my love for you will always remain. Our love is beyond forever and nothing can change that. You are my heart and soul and without you I am nothing. I love you, Marcus James Reynolds." Rabia said her vows as tears ran down her cheeks. She slipped his wedding band onto his ring finger and Marc noticed her hands were shivering. Marc looked up at her face closely and saw that she had paled. He squeezed her hand and she smiled at him.

"Do you Marcus James Reynolds; take Rabia Malhotra as your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do" Marc's voice rang clear.

"Do you Rabia Malhotra; take Marcus James Reynolds as your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do." Rabia's voice was a barely a whisper.

"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Marc stepped towards Rabia to kiss her just as she fell forward and fainted in Marc's arms.
