Shawn ~
My eyes fell upon Camila's body that laid upon the hospital bed.
Why her?
I slowly walked forward, dying each step of the way.
Now, I was only one foot away from her bed. My tears dripped onto her right hand as I held it in mine.
I then took a seat next to her on the bed. Her small breaths took me away as she breathed through a mask and tube.
I grabbed her hand up to my lips and kissed it, hoping it was just like a fairy tale and that she would wake up at that very second. She didn't. This is the real world and you can't just don't fix your problems with fairies. I wish you could though.
"Camila, it's all going to be ok. Don't worry, babe." I mumbled to her as my thumb rubbed against her knuckle as I put it back to her side.
"Sir, hello, I'm Dr. Montte." His voice caused me to jump and I immediately wiped most of the tear streams off of my face. He had his hand held out and I shook it. Probably wasn't the best idea to do it right away being that I had wet tears on my hand. He shook back and gave my a "hey...what am I touching?" Face.
"Anyway, because Ms. Cabello was injured in the car crash, she won't be able to leave the hospital anytime soon." He took out a clipboard and adjusted his glasses.
"Well, what's wrong with her?" I asked as I took a seat in the fat, green chair next to Camila's bed.
"Well, she has a fractured rib cage and clavicle. Her ankle and wrist are sprained. And her lung was punctured by her fractured rib. To be honest, sir, I have no idea how she survived. The important thing here is that she did survive. Appreciate that." He patted my back and walked out of the room.

Man, she doesn't deserve this. This is all so terrible. I just..... Don't know what to say.

I've been here, so far, for three hours. Geoff, Gerty, and John had arrived two and a half hours ago and have been sitting  on a small couch in the other side of the room.
The rain had gotten even worse outside and I could catch a glimpse of flooded streets and cars. I'm glad I'm not out there, but I still don't want to have to be in this situation.
Suddenly, the power went off for about ten seconds and came back on.
Oh Shit, that's never good.
I quickly peered out of the room window and saw nurses frantically running in and out of rooms. Abruptly, Camila's heart monitor began beeping extremely fast and loud. She then began to shake in her bed, not yet awake somehow.
"Help! Help!!!" I called out hoping that a nurse would quickly run in.

Don't die, please.

Hey guys, if any of you can send my edits of Camila and Shawn, it would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
