Pearlmethyst: A New Beginning (College Gems AU)

Explanation

Amethyst laid in bed. It was friday afternoon after school. She lay thinking about Pearl. "Should I go talk to her now? It has been a while now." Amethyst thought.

Amethyst decided to text Pearl. She wanted everything to go back to normal.
' Pearl I really miss you. Can I explain to you what happened? Please just hear me out' Amethyst texted.

She waited for a response. At Rose's house Pearl got the text. She read it. "Maybe I should give her a chance to explain to me what happened...." Pearl thought. She also really wanted to see Amethyst.

'Ok meet me on the cliff in like 10 minutes' Pearl texted. Pearl quickly got dressed and hurried to the cliff.

Amethyst was surprised when she read the text. Amethyst got dressed and basically ran to the cliff.

Amethyst was the first one there. It was a windy day but it was at least sunny. Amethyst saw Pearl walking in the distance. Amethyst's heart was thumping

"I have one chance to fix this if not my life is over. " Amethyst thought as she breathed deeply.

Pearl walked to Amethyst. There was an akward silence. "Hey P its been a while" Amethyst said akwardly. "It has been" Pearl said.

"Ok so Amethyst please tell me what happened the last time we saw each other." Pearl said. Pearl just wanted to see if Amethyst could be trusted.

"Well.... it started when you went to the store. Peridot came to knock and I opened it not knowing it was her. When she came in she tried to kiss me i walked backwards because I had you. I tried to push Peridot back but she didn't care. Then you came in and saw us. I panicked because I was scared of loosing you. And well... i did" Amethyst said

Pearl was shocked "Amethyst is this really true?" Pearl asked. "I swear. Please Pearl trust me" Amethyst said.

"Why didn't you tell me this before?" Pearl said. "Because you wouldn't listen" Amethyst said.

"I thought you had just moved on and you didn't like me anymore!" Pearl said.

"Pearl I LOVE you and I have told you so many times. I would never hurt you like that!" Amethyst said tearing up.

"I know I love you too!" Pearl said hugging Amethyst and tearing up. Amethyst hugged her back. "I've missed you so much!" Pearl cried. "I've missed you too!" Amethyst said through tears. They hugged for a long time. They smiled for the first time in a while.

They had their arms around each other. "It was horrible not having you around" Amethyst said. "Yeah I'm glad we got to talk about it" Pearl said blushing.

"Lets not fight again ok P? I felt horrible when you were mad at me" Amethyst said. "Don't worry Amethyst i don't wanna fight with you again" Pearl said staring into Amethyst's sparkling dark purple eyes.

Amethys grabbed the sides of Pearl's head and pulled her in for a kiss. They blushed deeply. They sucked on each others lips. They missed this feeling. The feeling of being together.

They felt complete again. They were glad that they fixed everything. They felt like their bond was now stronger than ever before.

When they parted from the kiss they just looked at each other.

"Strawberry lip gloss?" Amethyst smiled. Pearl laughed and nodded as she kissed Amethyst again.

They didn't care if anyone saw them right now, they only cared that they were together.
