Pearlmethyst: A New Beginning (College Gems AU)

Amethyst got to her dorm. Pearl was in the bathroom putting on make-up. "Hey Amethyst where ya been?" Pearl asked. "Umm I was just out" Amethyst said slowly.

"Oh. Well im gonna be going to Sapphire's house right now. Ya wanna come? I just need to go give something to her" Pearl said
"Umm... sure i guess" Amethyst said. Pearl looked at Amethyst worried "hey you don't seem ok. What happened?" Pearl said.

Amethyst took a deep breath "i saw her" she said. "Whos Her?" Pearl asked. "Ya know... from highschool" Amethyst said.

"Wait the girl u liked?" Pearl asked as she stopped to look at Amethyst. Amethyst nodded. "What... what did she say? you know about you liking her" Pearl asked.

"She said... umm well she said she likes me now." Amethyst said softly. "Wait what?!?!"" Pearl said. "She moved here just to be with me." Amethyst said.

Pearl's heart was thumping "what if Amethyst likes her back?" Pearl thought. "Did she... ask you out?" Pearl asked. Amethyst nodded. "Umm... what did you say?" Pearl asked worried that Amethyst said yes.

"i told her I was already dating someone of course" Amethyst said. Pearl let out a sigh of relief, she was scared. "Ok..." Pearl said. "Aww P do you actually think i would cheat on you?" Amethyst said. "I was just worried you still liked her" Pearl said.

Amethyst was happy that Pearl worried. She knew Pearl really did like her.

"So i gotta go to Sapphires house now before it gets more late." Pearl said as she walked towards the door. "Why are you going to her dorm?" Amethyst asked. "Its cause she can't find her book for one of her classes and Im gonna let her borrow mine." Pearl said as she opened the door.

Amethyst stood up so she could go with Pearl to Sapphires dorm. Pearl smiled when Amethyst walked next to her. Pearl was happy Amethyst really liked her. Amethyst slightly smiled. She liked Pearl she really did, but she thought she might be starting to like someone else a little.

Amethyst didn't want to but she couldn't stop herself. "Is it considered cheating if I kinda like someone else?" Amethyst kept thinking to herself
