Should We Tell??

It was Tuesday after school and Pearl and Amethyst were at their dorm. They were leaving their bookbags in the dorm because they were gonna go to the gym to help Sapphire set up for the prom.

Amethyst had barely made it through the day avoiding Tanzanite. Amethyst wanted to avoid her so she could see that she didn't like her..... much. Meanwhile Pearl was thinking. Thinking if she should tell their friends about her and Amethyst. She thought it was a bad idea now.

"Hey Amethyst. Remember when I said we should tell our friends about us?? Well maybe we shouldn't..." Pearl mumbled. Amethyst looked at her "why'd you change your mind?" Amethyst asked.

"It's just a lot of people say girls and girls can't be together, what if Rose, or Lapis, or any of our friends are like that?" Pearl said as she began heading towards the door.

Amethyst grabbed Pearl's arm. "So what if they don't want us to be together?" Amethyst said hiding her face in her hair. Pearl hesitated "im not saying that im just saying that what if they don't accept us?" Pearl stuttered as she tried to escape Amethyst's grasp.

"I don't care of they don't accept us. You know I love you Pearl and that means more than what anyone thinks" Amethyst said as she held on tighter. Pearl blushed. "Why is she acting so strange?" Pearl thought.

Amethyst was overwhelmed. She felt horrible about liking Tanzanite while in a relationship. And as always she tried to hold it in but she always couldn't. "Amethyst whats up? Your acting kinda strange" Pearl said as she brushed Amethyst's hair off of her face. Amethyst was crying.

"Im sorry. I just feel kinda bad..." Amethyst said letting go of Pearl's arm. "Bad for what?" Pearl asked. Amethyst wiped the tears off her face "i don't wanna say. You'll get mad...." Amethyst said softly. "Don't worry about it. It's fine if you don't wanna talk about it" Pearl said.

"I just wanna say... that I really do love you Pearl. I wouldn't care if the world made fun of me for it. As long as we were together, I'll be the happiest person on earth." Amethyst said looking at Pearl. Pearl smiled "I love you too Amethyst. Maybe we should tell our friends" Pearl said.

Amethyst nodded. Pearl bent over and pulled Amethyst in for a kiss. Amethyst blushed as she put her arms around Pearl.

When they stopped Pearl checker her watch. "Well we better get going or well be late" Pearl said. Amethyst smiled and they both left.
