Pearlmethyst: A New Beginning (College Gems AU)

Setting up

Pearl and Amethyst rushed to the gym. Everyone else was already there.

"About time you guys get here!" Sapphire said as she rushed towards Pearl and Amethyst. "What took you guys so long?" "Umm- we had some stuff to do." Pearl said softly. "Well C'mon. Not many students came to help me today. There was some sale at some resturant, or some shiz like that" Sapphire said as she looked around the gym.

Pearl and Amethyst saw there weren't many students their at all. They saw Rose, Lapis, Garnet, Ruby, Peridot, and a few other random students they didn't know well. Sapphire handed Pearl and Amethyst some decorations such as streamers, posters to hang around the campus, some wall stickers, and few other miscellaneous items.

They all worked on decorating the gym for at least an hour. Pearl went to put up some white and purple streamers  along the walls with Rose and Garnet. Meanwhile Ruby, Sapphire, and Amethyst went out to hand out fliers and put posters around campus, to start some hype for the prom. They made the prom that saturday, so they didn't have much time left.

Even thought they weren't in the same room they were texting each other. "So Amethyst, should we tell our friends about us today?" Pearl asked Amethyst.

"Yeah but let's make it when it's just us and our friends, we don't want a snitch over hearing us" Amethyst texted.

So then they went to work decorating for prom. They worked on the gym until 7. At 7 Sapphire called everyone to the gym.

"I wanna thank everyone for coming and helping, we will meet again before the prom to set up the snacks and stuff. So again thanks so much and I'll see you soon" Sapphire said happily.

Everyone began to start to leave. Pearl asked all of their closest friends to stay.

"Ok Pearl, CALM down" Pearl thinks to herself. "It'll all be alright"

Sapphire, Ruby, Garnet, Rose, Lapis, and Peridot stay.

Amethyst stands next to Pearl, and sees Pearl sweating and shaking. She rubs Pearls back for comfort.

"So we have something to tell you guys." Amethyst says
"What is it? Is it bad?" Sapphire asks a bit of curiosity in her voice.

"It's not bad, it's just news" Pearl finally says.
"Well cmon. What is it?" Ruby asks.

Amethyst grabs ahold of Pearl's hand. "Well we're togeth-" amethyst says before Lapis yells "YOUR TOGETHER?!?!"

Everyone's shushes Lapis.
"Yes, yes, yes we are" Pearl says.

Rose began to squeal happily. Garnet, Ruby, and Sapphire smile.

Amethyst and Pearl look at each other and smiled.
