Pearlmethyst: A New Beginning (College Gems AU)

Prom Planning

As soon as Pearl and Amethyst got to the dorm, Pearl went online to find decorations for the prom. Amethyst laid on her bed.

"Wow your really excited for that prom aren't ya?" Amethyst said as she looked over at Pearl who was on her laptop. "Yeah well of course... when I was in highschool it was a huge deal." Pearl said. "Yeah I've never gone to prom" Amethyst said playing with her own hair.

"Thats another reason I want to make prom nice. It'll be your first prom" Pearl said smiling. Amethyst blushed. "So what exactly do you do at a prom?"" Amethyst said in an uncertain way. "Well theirs dancing, music, dresses-" Pearl said before Amethyst cut her off "woah do we have to wear a dress?" Amethyst asked. Pearl nodded. Amethyst sighed. "I don't like wearing dresses. I feel kinda fat and akward in them" Amethyst said looking down at her clothes, it wasn't fancy clothes.

"C'mon Amethyst you look good in evething what are you talking about?" Pearl said. "Either way I don't have a dress" Amethyst said. "I will go out and buy you one if I have to" Pearl said. Amethyst chuckled.

Pearl found many ideas for the prom, but her favorite was just a classic prom like lights, party music, slow dance, etc.

Meanwhile Amethyst thought about Pearl and then Tanzanite and then Pearl and then Tanzanite, over and over again. "Hey Amethyst?" Pearl said as she closed her laptop. "Hmu?" Amethyst said. "You still like Tanzanite don't you?" Pearl said.

"No Pearl I don't" Amethyst said. "Im sorry I kept asking. I'm just kinda paranoid..." Pearl said. Amethyst nodded "i know" she said.

"Hey Amethyst... umm i was wondering.... maybe we should tell our friends that were together..." Pearl said. Amethyst looked at her "don't you think they might react badly?" Amethyst asked. "They might but you know, I really don't care. We shouldn't have to act like just friends around them" Pearl said. Amethyst sat next to Pearl.

"I guess your right... We should be truthfull with them" Amethyst said as she played with Pearl's short hair. Pearl smiled. "But how would we tell them?" Pearl asked.

Amethyst shrugged "I dont know, but it has to be truthful and honest" she said. Pearl nodded.

Ok so kinda a short chapter but ya know I had a busy and bad day so this was the best i could do.

Also I kinda want Pearl and Amethyst's friends to know about them already so plz give me some ideas on how they should tell Them!
