the unexpected

Annie's POV
Brennan and I turned around to find Liv standing there with her arm crossed. "Liv?, what are you doing here?" I asked her.

"Your mom and mr billy said its time to go". she said while staring at me and Brennan suspiciously. "Well okay, let's go then".

Brennan said while standing up. We then walked back to where everyone was and we went into the car and drove home. As we got home we all made ice cream sundaes and went outside.

Brennan's POV
As we ate our ice cream I then put a little ice cream on my spoon and held it by annie, "hey annie, look at me." I said trying not to laugh. She then turned around to face me and the ice cream that was on my spoon went onto her nose. I started to laugh uncontrollably.

"Hey!" she said while laughing. Here let me get that off for you, I grabbed a napkin and wiped the ice cream off her nose. "better?" I asked while laughing a little. She nodded her head and smiled.

As I turned around I saw ryan setting up the monopoly board. "You guys wanna join me?". he asked while setting up the cards. All of us except katie and haley joined in.

Our game was short lived when we found out we had to go home. "Annie, do you want to sleep over our house tonight?" Katie asked. "Yes I do, mom can I sleep over Katie's house tonight?" Annie asked her mom.

"Yes but im gonna have to drop you off because I have to take haley to gym practice." "Okay" Annie yelled back. So as we were gathering all of our stuff, I bumped into Annie on accident.

"Sorry" I said while smiling a little. "it's okay". she said smiling back. "So, I'll be seeing you in a little while right?" I asked. "Yeah, of course" she said back.

We both looked at each other and smiled, "well, bye". I said while waving at her. "Bye". she said while blushing a little.

Katie's POV
As I was grabbing my stuff I noticed Brennan and Annie smiling at each other while saying goodbye.

I wonder if somethings going on between them. As we drove off back to our house I decided to text Annie.

Katie: Hey Annie
Annie: Hi Katie
Katie: So you and Brennan huh?😉
Annie: What about me and Brennan?
Katie: Cmon you've told me before that you've liked him. Why don't you just tell him?
After that text I left my phone on the kitchen table and went to do some chores.
Annie: Because I was going to tell him that I had a crush on him at the park, but then liv was behind us and i think she knows that something is up. I really do like Brennan though.

Brennan's POV
As I sat on the kitchen table I noticed katies phone was on the table and there was a text from annie, so I checked it, and it said that she really liked me. I smiled and sat down and thought, "was that what she was going to tell me before liv saw us?"
