late night journeys

Annie's POV
"I hope so". I said as I looked into Brennan's eyes.
He leaned in and gave me a long soft kiss. 
"Annie! it's time to go to gymnastics!". My mom yells looking for me.
"Okay!". I yelled back.
Brennan stood up and wrapped his arms around me.
"Have a good time at practice, We'll be by stopping over by tonight to pick up Katie".
"I wish I could just stay here with you instead".
"Me too, that would be way better wouldn't it?".
I nodded and gave him a quick kiss.
"I'll see you later on tonight". I said while running back to my mom.
"Okay". Brennan said while waving at me.
I ran to the car and Katie smiled at me, "Where did you and Brennan go?". She asked smirking at me.
"I'll tell you at gym". I said while putting on my seatbelt.

When we arrived at gym, we set our bags down by our areas and changed into our leos.
"So Annie, tell me what happened".
"Okay, well while Brennan and I were putting our plates into the sink, Liv goes up to him and hugs him. Then when he had went to the bathroom. Liv went upstairs to look where he was. So I got curious because Brennan was taking a long time, I walked up the stairs and I saw Liv kissing Brennan".
Katie looked at me shocked.
"OMG do I need to talk to Brennan about this? that's just not okay!". Katie said while slamming her hands down on the floor.
"No, it's fine. We talked about it and everything turned out okay afterwards".
"Okay, well if you ever need me to talk to Brennan about something, just tell me okay?".
"Okay". I said while laughing.

After 5 hours of practice we headed home and Brennan guys met us back at our house.

Brennan's POV
As I knocked on the door, I saw Annie opening the door with a big smile on her face.
"Brennan! Hi!". She said excitedly while hugging me.
"Hi Annie!". I said while hugging her back.
"Aww how sweet!". Hayley said while running up to us and smiling.
I smiled and walked to the living room with Annie.
"Hey you wanna make cupcakes with me?". Annie asked while standing up.
"Yeah, let's go". I said while following Annie to the kitchen.
She grabbed out the pans and the ingredients then we started to bake.
As we got done putting the cupcakes into the oven we all waited for it to be finished.
"Hey Brennan, look at me".
I turned around and she smashed icing onto my cheek.
"I'm going to get you back!". I said while wiping off the icing.
She laughed and ran away from me into the living room.
I snook up behind her and picked her up then started spinning her around.
"I gotcha!". I said while still holding her in my arms.
She looked at me and smiled,
"You weren't joking when you said you would get me back". She said laughing.
"Nope". I said while popping the P

"You guys, the cupcakes are ready!". Katie yelled.
I set Annie down and we both walked back into the kitchen and frosted the cupcakes.
"How was gym practice?". I asked Annie.
"It was eh, I thought about you the whole time". She said while leaning on me.
I smiled at her and whispered, "I couldn't stop thinking about you when you left".
"What a coincidence". She smirked.
"I think it's just a way of our hearts reminding us that we love each other".
She looked at me and blushed.
"Let's go sit out on the porch". She said while leading the way.

Brennan's POV
"Okay". I said while following Annie outside on the porch. We sat down and Annie scoots her chair closer to mine.
"Isn't it amazing Annie? how one day someone walks into your life then the next day you wonder how you lived without them".
"It is pretty great, huh?".
"It is great. My life has been so much more amazing ever since I met you Annie. I love you so much".
She smiled and placed her hands on top of mine.
"Before I met you, I never knew what it was like to be able to look at someone and smile for no reason".
