a perfect evening?

Annie's POV
Katie and I headed up stairs to my room to pick out our dresses. I picked out my rose gold dress that went up to my knees and Katie picked a white dress that had floral print on it.

"Hey Katie, who are you taking to the dance?".

She looked down with a nervous look then looked back at me with a little smile,
"Would it bother you if I took Cody?".

"No at all Katie". I said as I smiled and pulled her into a hug.

"Thanks Annie, I was a little nervous to tell you because of what happened between you and him".

"You can tell me anything Katie, I support your decisions no matter what".

"This is why you're my best friend". Katie said while laughing.

We both laughed and hugged each each other.

"Let's do our hair and make up now so that when Brennan comes back with Cody we'll be ready to go". Katie suggested.

"Let's do it!". I said while grabbing out my curling irons and hair accessories.

We both simply curled our hair and then put in some cute hair clips.

After we were done getting ready we headed downstairs and took some pictures.

Knock
Knock

Katie and I looked at each other happily,

"Open the door Annie".

"No you open it!".

"C'mon just open it".

"Fine!". I said while giggling.

I opened the door and I saw Brennan dressed in a white button up shirt and black pants.

His jaw dropped as the door opened wider,
"H-Hi Annie".

"Hi Brennan!".

"You look..absolutely gorgeous".

"Thank you, you look very handsome yourself". I said while blushing.

He chuckled as he grabbed my hand and looked at Katie,
"Aww my little sister looks so grown up!". He said while hugging Katie.

"Why thank you". Katie said while bowing.

"So are you guys ready to go?". Brennan asked while opening the door for us.

"Of course!". Katie and I said at the same time.

When we arrived at the dance Katie went with Cody to take pictures and Brennan and I went to find our table.

As we found our table Brennan pulled out a chair for me to sit on,

"Thank you". I said as I sat down.

"Anything for you". He said while taking a seat next to me.

When the dj started to put on a slow song Brennan and I both looked at each other,

Brennan's POV
We both looked at each other and I place my hand on Annie's hand.

"May I have this dance?". I asked while standing up and holding out my hand.

"You may". She said as she held my hand and stood up.

We walked to the dance floor and found a spot where it wasn't that crowded,
I put my hands on her hips and she put her arms around my neck.

"So, how are you liking the dance so far?". I asked

"So far, it's going really amazing". She said while smiling.

I leaned in and kissed her as we were still swaying to the music. It felt...extraordinary.

Annie's POV
As we were still dancing to the music I heard my phone ring,
It was a text from a unknown number.
Unknown number: I see you.

I looked around, I didn't see anyone looking at me.

"You okay princess?". Brennan asked curiously. 

"Yeah I'm fine". I said while wrapping my arms around Brennan again.

There was another text message after that,
Unknown number: Meet me in the bathroom now!
