*couple days later*
Annie's POV
It's been days since I've seen or talked to Brennan, I missed him more and more every day.

I guess it showed because every day my mom and dad asked if I was okay.

I went up to my room and played some music on pandora and the song "maybe" by Daniel Skye (The song at the top of the chapter) came up and I thought of Brennan. I started to cry uncontrollably. I miss him so much.

I wiped away my tears and started to calm down.
"Maybe I should just try to call him".

A few rings went by. No answer.

I started to tear up as I left a voicemail for him.
"Hi Brennan...um im just calling to see how your doing and I...I miss you a lot..." I started sniffling as I ended the voicemail.

Brennan's POV
As I loaded my last box into the truck I went into the house and I checked my phone. There was a missed call and a voicemail from Annie.

I listened to the voicemail and I felt my heart drop.

It hurts me to see or hear Annie sad.

I decided to call her back and see how she is.

Annie: Hello?
Brennan: Hi Princess I got your voicemail, are you okay?
Annie: No...I'm not. I miss you so much...words can't even explain how much I miss you.
Brennan: I miss you too Annie.. I would do anything to see your beautiful smile again.
Annie: Haha...you always find a way to make me happy even when I'm sad.
Brennan: Just seeing you makes me happy.
Annie: You're my happiness. What time does your guys flight leave tomorrow?
Brennan: 1:30 in the afternoon...
Annie: Oh...Okay...
Brennan: Yeah...I'm going to call you back I have to help Ryan out with packing. I love you beautiful.
Annie: Okay, I love you too handsome.

Annie's POV
When we both hung up the phone I smiled and wiped away my tears.

Thinking about tomorrow, I thought to myself.

"Let's make this a surprise to remember".

Again I apologize for another short chapter but don't worry the next and final chapter for this book will be posted soon and I will try to make it long as possible. ily guys💗
