its never goodbye

Annie's POV
I woke up this morning and I quickly got out of bed and changed into my white romper and paired it with my jean jacket and I curled my hair then applied a little makeup.

I grabbed my phone then walked downstairs.

Hayley runs to me as I walked down the stairs with a surprised look.
"You look like a princess Annie!".

I smiled and hugged her,
"Aw thanks hay".

I walked with Hayley to the kitchen and mom looked at me and smiled.

"Aww my Annie looks so grown up".
She kissed my cheek and hugged me.

I sat down beside hayley and ate my breakfast.

"So Hayley, daddy's going to take you to school then Annie and I will pick you up when you're done".

"Okay". She said while finishing up her breakfast.

Later after Daddy took Hayley to school. I brushed my teeth and looked in the mirror one more time to make sure I looked my best then I met mom in the car so we could go.

"Ready sweetie?".

I sighed and put on my seatbelt.
"More than I'll ever be".

Brennan's POV
We got all of our bags into the trunk of the car and we headed to the airport.

When we got there we checked in and got our tickets then put our bags onto the getaway, it had only our clothes in there. and plus too so we wouldn't have to take it as a carry on.

Each of us only had one bag which had our valuables like our laptops and our cameras because mom didn't want it to get damaged.

As we were walking to get to the terminal I looked at my phone to check the time and I saw the wallpaper of Annie and I, it was a picture of Me hugging her and kissing her cheek and she was smiling.

A tear slowly streamed down my face as it finally sunk in, I was never going to see her again until those two years were up, that is going to be the hardest thing ill ever be doing in my life. It's going to be like I'm leaving my whole life behind.

I put my phone in my pocket and caught up with everyone. Until I heard a familiar voice calling my name.

"BRENNAN!".

I turned around and I saw Annie running to me. She jumped on me and hugged me so tight. I dropped my bags so that I could hug her back and carry her.

Annie's POV
I jumped on Brennan and wrapped my legs around him and gave him the biggest hug ever.

"Oh my gosh Brennan, I missed you so much these past two days. It's been so hard not being able to see you". I said with tears running down my cheek.

"Me too Annie...I was just thinking about you and...I'm going to miss you so much". He said while hugging me even tighter.

I could tell he was trying not to cry. I didn't want him to cry because I would start crying too.

We both pulled away and looked at each other. Brennan was still carrying me with my legs around him.

I tear slowly streamed down my face as I gave him a reassuring smile.

He smiled back and wiped away my tear.
"Don't cry Princess, I'll be back before you know it".
"Okay?".

I looked up at him and kissed his cheek.
"Okay".

He leaned in and kissed me passionately. It was such a beautiful moment. I could feel sparks everywhere every time we kissed. It was extraordinary.

"Flight 1621, passengers may start boarding now". The lady spoke in the speaker.

Brennan pulled away and set me down.

"Is that your flight?". I asked trying not to tear up.

He nodded and pulled me in for one last hug.

He held me so tight like if we were never going to see each other again.

I looked up at him and lightly pulled him to me. I kissed him once more and whispered in his ear,

"Goodbye Brennan".

He looked at me with an confused look,
"It's never goodbye Annie".

I smiled and held his hand,
"You should get going".

He nodded his head and picked up his bags. He looked at me like he had something to tell me.

"Annie?".

"Yes Brennan?".

"I love you".

I smiled and looked up at him,
"I love you too".

He smiled then gave me a quick hug and kissed my forehead one more time before he walked away.

I stood there and waved at him as he walked away, I then thought to myself,
"That was the journey of you and I, or should I say, That was the story of Brannie.

Omg you guys this was the last chapter for this part of the book. I will be starting the new series for this book soon and if you guys didn't know the next series will be in this same book, I've said that like so much times already😂 but im saying it again if anyone didn't know about it already.
