the truth

Annie's POV
I walked in the park and sat down on the dock.
Five minutes later, I heard footsteps walking behind me. I looked behind and it was Brennan.

"Hey Annie, here I got this for you". He said while handing me a red rose.

"Thank you Brennan". I said while blushing.

He sat down and scooted closer to me.
"So, what did you need to tell me?".

I looked down and looked back at him and sighed,
"Okay Brennan, I have been thinking about you endlessly all after noon. I can't hide my feelings for you anymore. I love you, I have never stopped loving you and I never will. My feelings for you never changed. I know that now".

He looked at me and smiled while lightly grabbing my hand.
"I love you too Annie. I'm so sorry for what happened while I was in California. All the moments I had with her didn't even compare to the moments I had with you. You are special to me Annie,  You mean so much to me. I don't want to lose you ever again". 

"You never will Brennan, never again".
I quickly leaned in and kissed him, he kissed back and wrapped his arms around me.

We both pulled away and smiled at each other.
"Can I walk you home?".  Brennan asked.

"Yeah, of course". I said while standing up.

We both started to walk back to my house,
"Are you cold?". He asked.
I nodded my head with a slight smile.
He took of his jacket and wrapped it around me.
"Thanks Brennan".
"Anything for you princess".

Fifteen minutes later we arrived at my house, Brennan walked me to the front door.

"So I'll see you tomorrow?". He asked while holding my hand.

"Yeah".

He kissed me once more and let go of my hands.
"Bye Annie".

"Wait Brennan, don't you want your jacket?".

He turned around and smirked at me,
"Keep it, I'll come back for it the next time I see you".

I giggled,
"Wait Brennan!". I yelled.

"Yes?".

"I love you".

"I love you too beautiful".
