Annie's POV
As me and Brennan were sitting together, I started to fall asleep until, "Brennan, Katie, Ryan!, let's go!". Their mom yells. Brennan looks at me and says, "I'll see you later Annie". He said while standing up. He kisses my cheek, "Bye beautiful". He said while smiling and walking away. "Bye Brennan". I said blushing. As the door closed. Haley looks at me suspiciously. "what?". I asked. "Are you and Brennan boyfriend and girlfriend?". She asked teasing. I looked at her confused, "Why do you ask?". "because I saw you guys holding-". As she was about to finish her sentence my mom interrupts, "Haley! clean up all your crayons please". She gets distracted and runs to the kitchen. "Phew". I thought to myself. "That was a close one".

Katie's POV
As we got home I sat on the couch and decided to text Annie.
Katie: Hey Annie I have to tell you something.
Annie: Okay, what is it?
Katie: So Liv told me that Brennan and her have dated last summer. He broke up with her 2 weeks later because he didn't have time for a relationship and till this day she still likes Brennan. I'm sorry I had to tell you this but I had to before you found out at the wrong timing and by the wrong person.
Annie: Oh... Is that why Liv hates me?
Katie: Probably, but don't let that bother you. Are you okay?
Annie: Yeah I'm fine. I just won't let that bother me. I gotta go Katie I'll text you later.
Katie: Okay cya.

Annie's POV
I wasn't really mad or upset about the whole Brennan and Liv situation. It's left in the past so that's where I'm gonna leave it. "Mom where's Haley?". I asked looking around for her. "She went with Ryan, for a play date. We're gonna have to pick her up later on". My mom said while cleaning up the kitchen. I smiled, "Fine with me". I said laughing a little. I played on my phone for a little bit then I got bored. "Mom can we go already!". I yelled. "Why are you such in a hurry to leave?". My mom asked while smiling. "Is it Brennan?". She added while sitting down. "Why would it be Brennan?". I asked trying to sound casual. "Well nothing I'm just asking, it's just I've been noticing a few things about you guys." She said while moving my hair out of my face. "Like what?". I asked. "You guys are always together, he carried you in when you hurt your ankle. I think it's just you guys are just really close friends and you care about each other". She said while petting Winnie. "Yeah that's what it is". I said looking away. "Okay, well are you ready to go then my big girl?". "Yes I have been for awhile". I said while laughing.

Brennan's POV
I saw my mom and Katie cleaning the kitchen, "Why are you guys cleaning?". I asked while looking down from upstairs. "Why not?". Katie asked while laughing. "Mr Billy guys are coming over for dinner". My mom said while making dinner. A smile sneaked up on my face, "Annie!". I thought to myself. I went downstairs and played some Xbox until Annie showed up. "Can we watch the hunger games?". Katie asked. "We watched that so many times". I said while trying to find a movie. "Cmon please!". Katie said while jumping on the couch. "Fine". I put on the movie and sat on the couch. I then waited patiently for Annie to show up.

Annie's POV
When we pulled up to the driveway we saw Haley and Ryan playing tag. "Mommy, Annie!". Haley said running to us. "There's our little girl!". My mom said while carrying Haley inside the house. "Hey there you guys are!". Katie's mom said. "Annie!". Katie ran and hugged me as I walked in with my crutches. "Come watch this movie with me and Brennan!". She said while walking me to where they were. Brennan scooted over for me. I sat in the middle of Katie and Brennan. "Hey Annie". He said while smiling at me. "Hi Brennan". I blushed a little.

Brennan's POV
I leaned in closer to Annie. She looked at me and smiled. It began to get dark and the stars started to come out. "Annie you wanna go outside with me to look at the stars?". I asked. "Yeah let's go". She said while grabbing her crutches. We walked out to the backyard and stared at the sky. "Its so beautiful". Annie said. I looked at her and smiled, "It's not as beautiful as you". She blushed and slowly held my hand. I then saw a shooting star, "Hey look a shooting star". I said while pointing at it. Annie looked at me, "What do you wish for?". She asked while smiling at me. I looked at her and pulled her in slowly. "A kiss from you". I said while wrapping my arms around her waist. She smiled and leaned in. I did the same as our lips touched. It lasted for a long time. This moment was ours, and it was perfect.
