Brennan's POV
My eyes widened.
"Why can't I stay here with you?!".
I yelled standing up.

"Brennan, there's more out their in life then just staying here, you need to go explore and see what's out there in the world". My dad said while making me sit down again.

I refused and stood back up,
"No! I'm not leaving. I'm staying here whether you guys like it or not!".
I grabbed my phone off the couch and went into my room, slamming the door as I got in there.

"I'm not moving". I said over and over again as I plopped onto my bed.

Knock
Knock

"Brennan, open this door now". My mom said knocking on the door.

I stood up and opened the door,
"What?". I asked while leaning on the door frame.

"Okay, Brennan I've decided that instead of us moving up their in 3 years it will be in 2 years instead."

"I'm still not going mom, I told you guys already, I'm staying here".

"Brennan, you're moving with us. Dad isn't going to stay here he's moving up with us. We're just going to keep paying for the house so we have something to come home too when that 2 years is up".

"So...you're saying I have no choice? I have to move up to California whether I like it or not?".

"That's exactly what I'm saying".

"My life is never going to be the same ...I'll never be happy again".
I turned around and walked to my bed.

"Brennan, just watch those two years are going to fly past right before you know it. Then when we do come back everything will be so great, you'll have your friends back, you'll have Annie back. Everything will be fine."

She kissed my head and walked out of my room.

"What if everything's not fine?". I thought to myself.

Katie's POV
I walked in the living room to look for mom,

"Hey mom, can Annie sleep over tomorrow?".

"Yes of course, I think your brother would like that". She said while laughing.

I laughed and sat on the couch. After, I texted Annie to let her know what was the plans.
Katie: Hey Annie, my mom said you can sleep over tomorrow.
Annie: Cool, I'll let my mom know.
Katie: By the way, is everything okay with you and Brennan? I heard him arguing with my parents.
Annie: Yeah, were good. He told me he was going to talk with them to see if he could stay.
Katie: Oh, I see. Okay, well I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight Annie!
Annie: Okay, goodnight Katie.

Annie's POV
After I got done texting I went into the shower then I brushed my hair and brushed my teeth. As I got done I went into my room and went into my room to clean up. Considering I wasn't going to be home tomorrow night so I decided to get it cleaned up now.
When I got done I layed on my bed and I got a text notification from Brennan.
Brennan: Hi Annie
Annie: Hi Brennan😊
Brennan: So I've talked to my parents today and I have some bad news and some good news.
Annie: What is the bad news?
Brennan: So...I can't stay here with my dad because he's moving up with them and the other news is, instead of staying there for 3 years it's now 2 years.
Annie: But...What about us ?
