Annie's POV
I felt my heart skip a beat. "I love you too Brennan." I said while smiling.
(Stop smiling Annie!) I thought to myself. Brennan smiled at me and turned around, "Get on my back Annie". He said while kneeling down. "What, Why Brennan?". I asked while laughing.  "I'm going to give you a piggy back ride."
"Well, okay". I said while going onto his back and wrapping my arms around his neck lightly. 

Brennan's POV
As she got onto my back I stood up and ran to the dock where the  river was. "Oh my gosh Brennan, you better not drop me in there!". Annie said starting  to hold onto me tight.
"What if I did?". I asked teasing.
"I would be so mad at you, but I would probably drag you in with me". She said while laughing. I laughed then walked back to the yard and started to spin her around again. "Brennan, I'm getting dizzy!". She yelled a little while laughing.
"I know, so am I!". I yelled back. I all of a sudden fell down with Annie landing on top of me. Her cheeks quickly turning red, "Hi". She said while giggling. "Hi". I said smiling. I got closer to her and kissed her for about 10 seconds till Annie pulled away. "We should probably  get back inside the house". She said while standing up and grabbing my hand, making me follow her back in the house.

Annie's POV
When Brennan and I walked back inside the house Hayley and Katie looked at us and smiled. I smiled back and sat down with Brennan. "Annie!" Haley yelled. I looked and she made a heart with her two hands teasing. I smiled and shook my head. Brennan scooted closer to me and kissed my cheek. I blushed as I looked at him. "AWWW!". Katie yelled while smiling at us. "Oh my Katie". Brennan said smiling and looking away. My cheeks became even more red. "Why can't I stop blushing?". I thought to myself.

Brennan's POV
I looked at Annie and she was still smiling. "She's so beautiful". I thought to myself.  "Brennan, Katie? You guys ready to go?". My mom asked while walking from the kitchen. Katie nodded her head. "Okay let's go, we still have a lot of things to do today". She said while telling Mrs Katie and Mr Billy bye.
I stood up and quickly kissed Annie on her head. "Bye Annie". I said while starting to walk away. "Bye.." She said still smiling at me. I walked away and I looked back to see Katie hugging Annie. I smiled and walked to the car.

Annie's POV
When everyone left Hayley sat by me and gave me a funny look. "What?". I asked trying not to laugh. "Are you and Brennan dating?". She asked whispering into my ear. I nodded my head slowly. She quickly cupped her hands around her mouth and started to laugh. " You better not tell mom or dad!". I said while trying not to raise my voice. Haley takes her hands away from her mouth. "Or else?". She asked while putting an arm on her hip. "I'll tell Ryan you have a big crush on him!". I said while turning to face Hayley.
"Nooo Annie!". She immediately started to panic. "Then don't tell mom and dad".
"Okay, I won't, just please don't tell Ryan!". Hayley said while going on her hover board. I nodded my head and went into my room to finish up my school work.

Katie's POV
I looked at Brennan and his cheeks were red. "Whatcha thinking about Brennan?". I teased. He looked at me with an embarrassed look, "Someone". He said while looking back at the window. I smiled and looked back at my phone of the picture of Brennan and Annie. "My best friend has made my brother into a happier person".

Annie's POV
I couldn't stop thinking about Brennan. He made my day way better than I expected it to be. I'm going to text him!

Annie: Hi Brennan☺️
Brennan: Hey Annie, I was just about to text you lol.
Annie: Hahaha no way!
Brennan: Yes, I had so much fun with you today.
Annie: I had so much fun with you too, you made my day so much better.
Brennan: Same here, best day of my life, I'll cherish these memories forever😘
Annie: Me too, I love you Brennan💗
I didn't receive a message back since I sent that. "That's a little weird". I said to myself.
I went downstairs and saw my mom on the phone, she had her hand on her mouth and it looked like she was about to cry. I walked to the couch and sat down wondering what happened. As she hung up the phone she walked over to me.
"Mom what's going on?". I asked while turning around.
She wipes away some of her tears.
"It's Brennan and Katie guys...they've gotten into a car accident."
