Brannie *Completed*

half a whole

Annie's POV
After they left I felt my heart drop. Thinking that was the last time I was ever going to see Brennan, my true love.

Mom looked at me with a concerned look knowing that something was wrong.

I started to walk up the stairs with tears streaming down my face. I walked into my room and closed the door, then i buried my face into my pillow.

Knock
Knock

Mom comes in and opens the door,
"Annie? Are you okay?".
She sat down on my bed next to me.

I sat up and wiped my tears away and slowly shook my head.

She braced me into a hug and rubbed my back.
"It's going to be okay Annie, I know how hard it is for you to say goodbye to them but they'll back in two years. That two years is going to fly past right before you know it".

"Mom...there's something I need to tell you..." I said while sniffling.

"What is it Annie? you can tell me anything". 

I pulled away and looked at her.

"These past few months...Brennan and I have been...dating".
I feel relief but regret at the same time after I finished my sentence.

Mom looked at me and gave me a slight smile.
"Annie...how come you never told me this sooner?".

I looked at my mom shocked, I didn't expect her to react to it in a good way.

"B-because you said I'm to young to be dating anyone". 

She looked down and looked back at me.
"That was when I didn't realize that, you all have to grow up at some point and I think I've finally accepted that".

I smiled and hugged her then started to cry tears of joy.

"Let me tell you something, maybe before they leave we can surprise them at the airport". Mom said while smiling at me. 

I nodded and started to stop crying.

"Okay well get some rest, I'll see you in the morning. love you". Mom kissed me on the cheek and went down to her room.

I layed back down in a relief and thought to myself,
"there was now no more secrets".

I'm sorry this chapter was super short but I'm trying to update as much as I can before I go back to school and I'm going to be ending this book soon and starting on the new book.

note: the next book for this series will be in this same book
( I know that may seem weird but I don't want to make another book and then no one ends up reading it so, might as well just make it into the same book.
