birthday party

Annie's POV
I got up later than usual today and woke up to mom yelling "Happy Birthday Haley!!". I jumped and ran downstairs. I walked down too mom getting all the decorations up and dad cooking. "Happy Birthday Haley!". I said hugging her. "It's about time ms Annie has woken up". My mom said. I laughed and sat down by Haley. "So girls everyone is gonna be here in a little bit, so get ready and clean up the living room please". my mom said while putting up the balloons. "Okay". We both said and went upstairs and changed then came back down to clean up. As we got done cleaning and decorating there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it!" I yelled. I ran to the door and saw Sydney, Luke and Arden. "Hey!!". I said surprised. "We're here!". Sydney said. They all came inside and sat down while giving Haley her gifts. As we were all talking there was a another knock on the door. My mom opened it and it was Liv. "Hey Liv!!". Arden and Haley yelled while walking her over by where we were. I smiled at her but she looked away. "Okay..." I thought to myself.

Brennan's POV
"Katie hurry up were already late to the party!". I yelled. "You just want to hurry up and go because you want to see Annie!". She yelled back. "Oohh Brennan!". Ryan said while pointing at me. "Oh quiet". I said while walking to the car. I texted Annie.
Brennan: Hey sorry we're gonna be a little late.
Annie: No problem. It's better than not Showing up at all.
Brennan: Haha yeah, anyways were on our way now. see you soon💗
Annie: See you soon Brennan😊

Annie's POV
About 15 minutes later Katie guys showed up. "Hey guys!". Katie yelled while walking in. "Katie!!". Everyone yells and runs to her. "Here Haley this is for you". Brennan says giving Haley her gift. "Thank you!". She runs and puts it on the table. "Hey Annie". Brennan says while sitting by me. "Hi!". I said happily. He smiled. "Everyone lets eat, come make your plates!". My dad says while motioning us to come to the table. We all run to the table and made our food. I go to sit by Brennan but Liv runs to the seat first, "Sorry, I got here first". She said while giving me a look. Brennan looks at me and says," That's okay, me and Annie can go find another place to sit". Brennan says while standing up and grabbing his plate. I smiled. We find another place by Katie and Arden. Liv glared at me the whole time we were eating. As we got done eating it was time to sing happy birthday to Haley. When we got done singing happy birthday, we all got some cake. I was walking to the door to go outside but then Liv walked into me, smashing her cake onto my white romper. "Annie what happened?!". My mom said. "Liv walked into her while holding her cake". Brennan said backing me up. "Annie go get changed". My mom said trying to wipe off the icing. I ran upstairs frustrated and got changed into my black and white dress I used for the Panel.

Brennan's POV
Everyone went outside to do gymnastics. But I stayed inside to wait for Annie."Hi Brennan". Sydney says sitting down next to me. "Oh hi". I said looking around for Annie. "How have you been?". She asked holding my arm. "Um I've been okay". In the corner of my eye I see Annie looking at me and tearing up. As I looked at her she ran back upstairs. I ran after her and grabbed her hand. "Annie what's wrong?". I asked her. "You were with Sydney!". She said while pulling back. "Annie I didn't ask her to sit by me or for her to grab my arm, I'm sorry I didn't want to seem rude I just didn't know what to do". I say while hugging her. "Promise?". She asked sniffing. "Of course". I said. As she calmed down I said," Let's go downstairs now okay". She nods her head and follows. "Wait". I said stopping her. "What?". She asked. I leaned in and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Now we can go". I said smiling. She smiled back and walked downstairs. As time went by it started to rain and everyone came running back inside the house.

Annie's POV
"Annie, Liv". come here please my mom says. I got up and walked over to where my mom was, Liv followed. "Let's go in my room to talk girls". We all walked to her room and as we all sat on the bed my mom begins to say.
"So Liv, Is it true that on Tuesday afternoon you locked Annie in her room?". My mom asked.
Liv looks down then looks at me.
"It's not true, Annie is just a liar!" Liv says.
