I won't give up on us

Brennan's POV
When Annie and I walked up the stairs and sat down, Katie looked at us and gave me a smile.

I smiled back and scooted closer to Annie.

"Brennan?". Annie asked while tapping me on the shoulder.

"Yes?".

"Can we go outside and talk?".

"Yeah, of course". I said while standing up and following Annie outside.

We sat down under a tree and I could tell Annie had a lot on her mind.

"Are you okay Annie?".

She looked down and shook her head slowly.

"What's wrong?". I asked wrapping my arm around her.

"When do you guys leave for California?". She said while looking slowly up at me.

"Monday.."

"That's in four days..." She said while tears started to slowly stream down her face.

I nodded my head slowly and lightly pulled her in.

"I'm going to miss you so much...I can't even tell you how much im going to miss you, Saying goodbye to you is going to be the hardest thing I'll ever do in my life". Annie said while leaning her head on my shoulder.

"I really don't want to leave you Annie, if I had one wish, I would stay here and spend every single day with you. Ever since the first day I met you, I knew you were the one. I'm never letting you go, no matter how far we're apart".

"I would've never thought I would end up with you, but I'm glad I did. You make my life complete."
After finishing her sentence she started to cry.

I picked her up and placed her lightly on my lap and held her in my arms to calm her down.

"Annie, you're the best thing that has ever happened to me. Don't cry about this...We have four more days together, let's just make the best of it and enjoy it while it lasts."

She wiped away her tears and looked up at me with a slight smile.

"I won't give up on us Brennan".

I kissed her forehead and held her tighter in my arms.

"I love you Annie".

"I-I love you too Brennan".

As the sky got darker, the stars slowly started to appear.

"The stars are so beautiful". Annie said while pointing at the stars.

"Not as beautiful as you".
I said while smiling at her.

She blushed and kissed my cheek.

"You ready to go back inside?". I said while standing up with Annie still in my arms.

She nodded her head and wrapped her arms around my neck so she had grip as I carried her back into the house.

When I walked into the house Katie was already sleeping and so was ryan.

I lightly set Annie down on one of the sleeping bags and turned off the lamp.

After, I layed down on top of the sleeping bag that was next to Annie.

"Brennan?".

"Yes princess?".

"I'm scared.."

"It's okay, I'm right here.". I said while cuddling next to Annie.

She wrapped both of her arms around me and snuggled.

Annie's POV
I wrapped my arms around Brennan and snuggled into him.

"I wish I could hug you and never let you go". I said while smiling.

"Me too, id never let you go".

I smiled and lightly kissed him on his lips.

"Goodnight Brennan".

He pulled me in closer and kissed my forehead,
"Goodnight beautiful".
