unpredicted morning

Annie's POV
I twiddled my fingers around. "what if there was?". I asked. My mom looks down and looks back at me. "I wouldn't mind it's just, you would have to wait till you get older because your too young Annie". I look down. "oh okay". I said. "Get some sleep sweetie, we'll see you in the morning". My mom said while giving me a kiss on my head. "good night mom". I said while closing my eyes. I then fell into a nice deep sleep.

*The next morning*

Brennan's POV
I wake up to see Katie and my mom trying to wake me up. "Brennan, it's the morning already. wake up". My mom said while tapping my shoulder. I rub my eyes and I forgot where I was for a second until I remembered what happened last night. "Can we go see Annie?". I asked. "Yeah we're gonna go right now because we gotta go home and get Annie's crutches then come back". My mom said while locking the car doors as we walked inside the hospital. We went up the elevator to go to Annie's room but since she could only have 1 visitor at a time. We each went in there one at a time. "Brennan you can go first". My mom said. I walked into there to find Annie sleeping. Ever so peacefully. I stood by her bed and held her hand. "I really hope you're okay Annie, I miss you so much, It's my fault about last night I should've just helped you out when I had that chance. I'm so sorry". I hugged her and started to tear up. "I'll see you soon Annie, I love you so much". I kissed her cheek and left.

Katie's POV
As I saw Brennan walk out of Annie's room he was wiping away his tears. "Oh no". I thought. I walked in and see Annie sleeping. So I sat by her bed. "Annie? Please tell me you're going to be alright. Me and Brennan miss you so much, like words can't even describe to how much we miss you. You're my best friend Annie, I'm so lucky to be abled to call you my best friend. You've been there for me through everything and I'll cherish those memories forever". I started to cry uncontrollably. "Katie honey let's go". My mom said while hugging me and walking me to the door. "Annie is going to be just fine you guys, don't cry about it. In no time she'll be as good as new, like nothing ever happened". My mom said reassuring us. We drove home to get Annie's crutches and headed back to the hospital.

Annie's POV
When I woke up this morning I saw dad on his phone and Haley sitting on the ground playing with her toys. "Dad?". I asked while rubbing my eyes. "Are you alright?". My dad asked while sitting on the bed next to me. I nod my head. "Your test results came in, you just have a concussion. Your free to go home but we have to wait till Brennan guys come back with your crutches". My dad said while yawning. "Oh okay". I said. "Where's mom?". I asked. "She's gone home with Brennan guys to get our car since they drove us over here". "Oh". I said while looking at Haley. "Hi Haley". She looks at me and waves to me, "Hi Annie!". She runs to me and gives me a hug. "Can you play with me Annie?". She asked while pointing to her toys. "Annie has to stay in bed for a little while more sweetie but when we're at home she can play with you, okay Haley". My dad says while playing with Haley's hair. "Okay!". She says while running back to her toys.
"knock knock". My mom says while bringing in my crutches. I smiled at her. "So Katie guys actually had stuff to do in the after noon so their gonna stop by before going home". My mom said while looking at my dad. Dad nods his head. "Are you ready to go home ms Annie?" My mom asked helping me up. I nod my head and smile. I get up and go on my crutches and start to walk. We go into the car and I find my phone. There was a text from Brennan.
Brennan: Hi Annie text me back when you get this message💗
Annie: Hi Brennan I just got out of the hospital, were on our way home.
Brennan: Okay, I'm so glad you're okay. I'm so sorry Annie I don't know why I didn't just help you out when I had the chance.
Annie: Brennan it's not your fault. It's okay.
Brennan: I just feel bad.
Annie: Don't feel bad, I'll see you in the evening okay. Everything is going to be fine.
Brennan: I can't wait too see your beautiful face again❤️
Annie: Aww☺️
Brennan: My beautiful princess👑💖
Annie: Brennan your making me blush😊❤️
Brennan: That's what I was going for haha.
Annie: Haha, I'll see you soon okay.
Brennan: Definitely, I love you💗
Annie: I love you too😇
I walk out of the car with a big smile on my face while walking to the door. "What's with the big smiles Annie?". My mom asked. "Just happy to be home". I said while walking inside the house. I layed down on the couch with Winnie and watched some tv. "Home at last". I thought to myself as I fell asleep.
