a sense of guilt

Annie's POV
My heart dropped. I'd never expect to see a text message like that, especially  from my best friend. I quickly ran to my room and closed the door. I sat on my bed and started to cry uncontrollably. "Why does everyone hate me, I've never done anything bad to them". I thought to myself. "Liv hates me because I'm dating Brennan and Katie hates me now because Brennan chose me over their YouTube channel". I sniffled as I put my phone on the charger and started to fall asleep. "I wish this was all a bad dream". I said softly before going to sleep.

Katie's POV
After I sent that message I felt a sense of relief but I also felt a feeling of guilt and regret. My hands started to shake a little. "Oh no..what did I do?!, I'm so stupid!". I thought to myself. I ran to my moms room. "Mom can we please go to Annie's house tomorrow". I said while tearing up. "We can after we get done with our errands, why what's going on?". She asked
"I did something really bad mom, I have to fix it". I said while wiping away my tears. My mom hugged me, "What did you do?". My mom asked while rubbing my back. I shook my head. "Go up to bed Katie, we'll go to Annie's house before we do our errands okay?". I nodded my head and walked away to my room. I wish I could have took back that message I sent to Annie but I can't, once I sent it, I can never get it back.

*The next morning*

Brennan's POV
We all got up and ready to go to town and do some errands. "So mom where are we going first?". I asked while grabbing my phone. "Mr Billy's house". She said while grabbing the keys. "Really? for what?". I asked while smiling. "Katie wants to tell Annie something. Cmon we gotta go". My mom said while walking outside to the car, we all followed and went into the car. "What is Katie going to tell Annie?". I thought to myself. 

Katie's POV
When we arrived to Annie's house I knocked on the door and Mrs Katie answered it, "Hey guys!, come on in". She said while letting us in. "Where's Annie?". I asked. "She's in the kitchen reading". Haley said while pointing to the kitchen. I ran to the kitchen and I saw Annie sitting down. "ANNIE!". I yelled. She jumped up and looked at me with a sad look. I ran to her and gave her a hug.
"Annie I'm so sorry, that message was written out of anger I didn't mean it! I wish I could take it back, please forgive me, I already lost one of my best friends. I can't lose you too". I said trying not to tear up.
"I forgive you Katie". Annie said while hugging me back. We both let go and smiled at each other.

Annie's POV
I felt a big weight come off of my chest now knowing that everything is okay with Katie. We walked to the living room and Brennan looked at me and smiled. "Hi Annie". He said while I sat down. "Hi Brennan". I said blushing a little. "Are you okay?". He asked while moving my hair out of my face. "Yeah, I'm fine". Katie looked at us and smiled.

Katie's POV
I smiled as I looked at Brennan and Annie talking to each other. You could tell that they really loved each other. By the way Annie smiles at him and they way Brennan looks at her. I finally accepted the fact that if my brother is happy with his choice. I'll be happy too. 

Brennan's POV
"Annie let's go outside, I have to tell you something". I said while I stood up. "Okay". She said grabbing my hand and following me outside. "Why are you taking me outside Brennan?". She asked.  "I have to tell you something". I said while I stopped walking. I then picked up Annie and spun her around. "Brennan what are you doing?". Annie asked while laughing.  I put her down and wrapped my arms around her waist.
She looked at me straight into my eyes, "I could just get lost in her eyes". I thought to myself. 
"What is it that you wanted to tell me?". She asked whispering a little.
I looked down and I looked back into  her eyes.
"Annie, I love you".
