*two years later*

Annie's POV
Today was the day Hayley and I were going back to public school. We both wanted to go back to public school because it just helps us to get back on our feet, during these past two years it's been quite a bumpy road.

I'm going to seventh grade and Hayley's going to third grade.

I put on my outfit and curled my hair. After that, I applied a little makeup and put on my converse.

I headed downstairs where everyone was waiting.

"Good morning Ms Annie". My mom said happily as she got up and hugged me.

"Morning". I said while smiling.

I sat down next to Hayley and she was playing with the dogs.

"So girls, as you guys know it's been two years and that means Mrs Jill and her family will be moving back". My mom said as she looked at me with a reassuring smile since she knew what had happened with Brennan and I

I won't know how to look at Brennan anymore since I found out that he cheated on me while he was in California with a girl named Lexy. Katie told me the news and I cried for five days straight. It just hurts to know that he said he wouldn't ever hurt me or find someone else. I thought he would love me forever...but I guess not.

I nodded my head and looked back at my phone.

"Mommy, when are they going to visit us?". Hayley asked

"Actually, tonight".

I looked up off of my phone and gave my mom a look.

"Tonight?!". I asked confused.

Mom nodded her head and stood up.

"Well, cmon girls it's time for you guys to get going to school and then before we get home we have to pick up pizza,
Okay?".

"Okay". Hayley and I said while putting on our school bags.

We walked to the car and then drove off to school.

After mom dropped us off at school and got us settled in our classes, I dropped Hayley off at her class and then walked to my class.

As I went into my class and took a seat,
a girl with long black hair approached me with a nervous look.

"H-Hi are you Annie from Bratayley?".

I nodded my head and smiled,
"Yes, Yes I am".

Her eyes widened and she quickly gave me a hug,
"Hi, I'm Jade, I watch you guys all the time on YouTube!, Do you mind if I sit next to you?".

"No not at all". I said while scooting over for her.

As the day went by Jade and I became closer friends. We actually had a lot in common.

After school I waited for Hayley outside of her class and then walked to the parking lot where mom was waiting.

"Hi girls! how was school?". Mom asked as we got into the car.

"Good". We both said at the same time.

After we got pizza we headed home and I went straight up to my room and got out of my school outfit and put on a cute floral print dress that went up to my knees. Then later, I started on my homework.

Suddenly I heard Hayley scream.

I jumped up and ran downstairs,
"Hayley?! are you ok-..." I got cut off by seeing Katie guys standing by the door.

"K..Katie?". I screamed as I ran to her and gave her a hug.

"Annie!!, I missed you so much!". Katie said as she hugged me even tighter.

Brennan's POV
As Annie ran to Katie and hugged her.

I noticed how much she has grown since the last time I saw her. She's so gorgeous.

Hayley poked my arm and gave me a hug.

"Hi Brennan!". She said with excitement.

"Hi Hayley". I said while letting go of the hug.

Katie and Annie finally let go of each other and annie looked at me with a sad look. Like she was broken inside.

"I'm the reason why she's broken". I thought to myself.

"Hi Annie". I said waving at her with a dorky smile.

"Hi.." She said with a slight smile.

We all walked into the living room and talked. Dad took Katie to get her registered back in gymnastics so Annie was by herself.

I slowly scooted closer to Annie and she looked at me with a nervous look.

"Um..how have you been Annie?"

"I've been okay... What about you?".

"I have been good lately".

She nodded her head and looked back at her phone. She was texting someone named Cody.

My smile faded away quickly and thought,
"Had she moved on already..?"
