One word: Fanservice. For the younger readers who don't know what that means; it's bassically a lot of half-naked anime people. Yeah, that's how deep my life has sunk. Have no regrets though. The plot was not super spectaculair, but the way it was brought was pretty interesting. I mean; clothes that take over the world and give you super powers? Nah, I've seen worse. Anime is partly known for it's weirdness after all. At least it is original. The plot is funny and all and the relationship between Senketsu and Ryuko is okay, but what really got my attention were the characters. The villains were just straight up ridiculous and I'd have loved to see more of them. Mako was just adorable and really, really silly and the Elite four just looked like cheap knock-offs of villains from other anime/stereotypes taken way to serious, which made it even more fun to watch. I didn't mind the plot-holes as much as I should have, mainly because I didn't take this anime very seriously in the first place. It was only in the end that I began to take it seriously, because well... Weird mom relationship, that cute girl who was excually her father's killer the whole time and that space scene... Yeah, my life has sunk really, really deep. I enjoyed Kill la kill regardless.
P.S. I'm fully aware the video has the themesong of Panty and Stockings and yes, I know what that anime is all about; mainly more fanservice. This fananimation was just to good to left out.
