I've been watching a lot of films in theatre recently, so I'll make a list of my favorite films that are currently see-able in theaters.
5. Secret life of pets
The first trailer got me really excited and I wanted to see it very badly, but when I saw the second one, I realised that was just another toy story rip-off. A good one, sure, but still something I wasn't really looking for. Well, at least it is better than storks.
4. Alice through the looking glass
The story was terrible, but the jokes and characters were fun. I like the original better, but it was fun to revisit wonderland. Time and his seconds were the stars of this film and surprisingly better than the original characters.
3. The BFG
This one caught me completely of guard. Although the trailer looked promising, I didn't really want to see it. That is probably because I'm not really a fan of life-action disney films. Not after I saw maleficent, into the woods and Cinderella anyway. Surprisingly, it stayed true to the book, had a few very funny moments and had beautiful CGI. It was fascinating and way better than I had expected.
2. Finding Dory
Like Alice, it was worse than it's original, but still very good. It was interesting, had very good animation, great voice-acting and was pretty funny.
1. Suicide squad
I haven't watched it yet, but it's trailers looked very promising as well as the acting. I've liked DC over Marvel from a young age and that's why I'd rather see this movie than lets say civil war. I'll hopefully see it soon and I'll probably do a review on it then.
