I haven't watched a lot of anime yet, but I love it. So here is my list of best anime. (It will be updated every once in a while, because I haven't seen that much yet.)

10. Kill la Kill/ attack on titan

Both shows aren't the best. To be fair: pretty shitty.

Kill la kill:

The characters are enjoyable and weird and the storyline has a lot of plotholes, but I enjoyed it regardless. I mean: clothes that take over the world? It's at least original. The villains are also incredibly silly and I would have loved to see more of them. One more thing; fanservice, fanservice everywhere.

Attack on titan:

I don't know why everyone loves this show so much. I mean: the action scenes were cool, the titans were pretty creepy and the deaths were brutal, but the characters were just so incredibly dull. (Except for patatogirl Sacha, she was just awsome. XP) They were just so flat... So... two-dimensional. No-one had a cool backstory, no-one had interesting characteristics. (Except for Sacha again.) Even the story was pretty flat. It was just all the way like; O no titans are coming! Lets go fight them! O no, we're all going to die! Nevermind, we're fine; Eren turned into a monster again. The only reason this is on this list is because of the stunning visuals. And... The epic themesong. O yeah, before I go to 5; Eren is a annoying little piece of shit, thank you all for your attention.

9. SAO (sword art online)

This was the first anime I saw and it will always hold a special place in my heart. A friend of my (nederlandsx) just simply begged me to watch it and I did, mostly because I have no life what so ever anyway. (In return, I asked her if she would see Fairy tail and now she is as addicted as I am XP) I always thought anime was just overdramatic crap with weird storylines and crazy characters. And yes, it bassically is overdramatic crap with weird storylines and crazy characters, but that's what I like about it.

SAO is just amazing. It had crazy bossfights, amazing visuals, an interesting concept and memorable characters. (Klein is my favorite :3. One of the reasons for that, is that "Klein" means small in dutch.) The only thing that bugged me was that it's storyline had a really fast pase. Two episodes and you were a year further in the story. Especially in the beginning. I just couldn't keep up with all the new characters that were introduced and all the important plotelements. I liked that the seasons were bassically two stories. You know; one with Alfheim and one with SAO. It is a shame the second season wasn't as good as the first one, but I liked the guns and battle royal kinda feeling. My friend told me there is going to be a movie soon? Count me in!

8. Deathnote

This series just takes a simple concept in trows and into a world of possibilities. It's pretty dark, because it plays with one of our worst fears; to die and just be forgotten. I mean, if you have seen it; can you remember any of Kira's victims? It also questions some major themes, like what's good and what's bad, while providing some comical relieve with Ryuk's apple addiction and Elle. Elle is my favorite character so far, mostly because I can relate to him a lot. One of my only problem with this show was that it was so boring and wordy. This is supposed to be a thriller and sometimes it really had me on the edge of my seat, but sometimes I just wanted to skip a few episodes.

7. Blue exorcist

I really liked this show. The fights were really good, characters well written for the biggest part and the animation was pleasant to look at. read more in my review.

6. Toradora!

This romantic comedy is just.... Gold. The promise is not that special; girl wants friend from boy, boy wants friend from girl and so they help each other, but how it is developed... Wonderful. You can really see the bond between the two main characters grow in the twenty or so episodes and it all comes to a conclusion that is too cute for words. I think I like the episode with the wrestling match the best. The two main characters just complement each other so well and there was no real part that felt boring. Really, go watch it. Now.
