10.)Robotchicken
stopmotion has never been more enjoyable and inappropriate. It's just genuis, but also just very stupid.
9.)Futurama
Futurama is the perfect mix between south park and back to the future. It's funny, original and totaly nuts. Let that just be some things I like.
8.)Bob's burgers
I really like bob's burgers. The characters are just so great and I love the strange scenarios they get themselves in. I should watch it more often, but there are a lot of other great shows out there that I need to watch first.
7.)South park
South park is often said to be the cartoon that has inspired most of the adult cartoons we see today. I haven't seen a lot of it yet, but it needed to be on this list, because it's so immensely popular. It's even well-known by non cartoonwatchers.
6.)The Boondocks
This show is pretty popular with it's watchers and definetly worth a watch if you like social issues and racist humor. It has an anime like style and is one of the shows with a more creative approach on social issues.
5.)The venture Bros.
This is one of the best shows adult swim has ever produced and also one that isn't very well-known with casual cartoonwatchers, but has a huge fanbase. The seasons air really slow, but it's still going strong with a 7th season announced.
I didn't really know a lot about this cartoon either until I saw some clips on the adult swim channel on YouTube and started watching it. It's a really great action cartoon with interesting storylines, so you should definetly check it out if you haven't already.

4.)Clone high
It's a shame this show was canceled so soon, because it was really good. The concept of clones of famous historical figures going to school together really worked and the semi-abstract style made it even more interesting. Shame on you adult swim, shame on you.
3.)Camp camp
I'm a huge fan of rooster teeth and Especially of it's cartoons. Camp camp is a great example of that. I love it's colorful style and characters. It turns all the summercamp clichés upside down and has some of the best oneliners in animation history.
2.)Rick and Morty
This show is just great at taking ideas and problems that couldn't excist in our universe but do in the infinite universes of Rick and Morty. It's a crazy and original show that makes me laugh every time.
1.)Bojack horseman
Bojack is my favorite cartoon of all times probably and not because it's an adult cartoon, but because it gives me feelings I didn't want to feel and it doesn't have a happy ending. I just love it.
