Dear god, this is a blast after the minions, because let's be honest: it was a bad movie.
I didn't really think that they would make another movie, but I'm actually pretty glad that they did. I generaly really like the despicable me movies: the characters are likeable, the villains are fun and it's great to get a laugh out of.
Now don't get me wrong: I don't enjoy them as much as say... Disney movies. The stories are simple and I normally enjoy deeper films more, but it wasn't supposed to be very deep in the first place, so it's fine. I'm very curious how the relationship between Lucy and Gru wil play out in this movie. Maybe the kids have grown up a bit? How long after the first movie does this take place anyway? How can the hair of the villain be so big? SO MANY QUESTIONS.
I expect Gru and Lucy to have some kind of relationship problems in this story, because that is Always what happens with couples in one of the sequels of every generic movie. If you haven't noitced yet: I'm very fond of well designed villains and I really start to like this one. He's so extremely tacky! >w< I really want to see more of him.
