I'm still thinking about making a seperate rwby book though... this will get very confusing for those that haven't seen rwby.
A lot of people have been speculating about the inspirations used for Henry Marigold's character, who first appeared in the episode tipping point in volume 4. However, a lot of people believe (as do I) that he'll come back to play a larger role.
If you want to find out what that role is going to be in detail, I highly suggest you check out [Snow daze|http://aminoapps.com/p/wfeamm] 's theories on him. This is the theory in short for those who are too impatient:
Henry Marigold alludes to rumpelstiltskin and he should be sitting on one of the empty chairs in salem's castle. He's probably searching for the wintermaiden and what better way to start than with a family who has the winter theme all over? He believes that Weiss is the wintermaiden, since she is the youngest and has the most potential. He tries to seduce her, which doesn't really seem to work. (Smooth Henry, very smooth.)
What his final goal is, is very interesting and all, but I find how he tries to achieve that goal way more interesting. He tries to seduce weiss and at first glance looks and acts like a very shallow character; a typical bratty rich boy.
However, something surprised me. He looked a little different, but that hair, those clothes. He looks suspiciously like someone we've seen before, someone who had also taken an interest in Weiss: Neptune.
Speaking of which; we haven't seen the dude this season yet, which surprises me, since we have seen his friend Sun. Maybe these two events share a connection.
What if something has happened to Neptune? Something unvolving Henry. You see, I actually think that Henry has used his semblance to look like Neptune, because he has seen that Weiss took interest in him. What he failed to do was copy his manners and personality.
What is this semblance? You might ask. As we heard from crow, not all semblances are usefull in combat and you can not turn some semblances off. What if Henry can change his appaerance with his semblance?
I imagine no-one knowing how he really looks, just like no-one knows what the name is of his mean inspiration: rumpelstiltskin.
Additionaly, I'd like to believe that he has even more in common with the the gold-spinning maniac. Perhaps he can only "steal" identities if he has made a deal with the person he's stealing it from. Maybe Neptune had lost a bet with him and I'm curious what kind of bet that could have been. If this turns out to be true, what has hppened to Neptune? Did he lose his identity or maybe even worse?
I could theorize even further on this "bet", but I only will, if this theory turns out to be true. I already have a guess...
Anyway, if Henry would indeed have such a semblance, he would only have the power to copy peoples appaerances and not their behaviour, thus acting like a bratty rich boy to impress Weiss.
What do you think? Should I theorize even further on this? What could this bet have been? Leave your thoughts in the comments and I'll hopefully see you soon!
