*theorie: rwby character influences. part 2: JPNR and teachers. *

Previous chapter we've discussed what the influences for team rwby could have been. Now we're moving on to team JPNR and the villains.

Lets start with the leader as we did last time. Jaune is another easy one, since his name is litteraly Jaune Arc. You know as in Jean d' arc.  But as most times, I think there is more to it than that. I think Jaun also resembles the ugly duckling,  since he can't seem to do anything right,  but has surrely potential.  His aura is amazing and I think he'll get an awesome semblance. This would also perfectly line up with a few of my other theories for the show that I am yet to explain and with my "Weiss is the swanprincess" theorie.

Then we have the evercheerful Nora, who has a much darker side than you would expect. I didn't know what she was based on at first, but after some thinkwork I think I have found out who she resembles. I think Nora is a combination of the God thor and the heartsqueen. Her semblance (turning electricity into pure muscel and energie) and her hamer coming from thor. (I can only guess someone must be really fan of norse mythologie or Marvel.) Her catchphrase (Not the boop one, but "I'm the Queen of the castle), sometimes almost sadistic attitude and heartpattern all over coming from the heartsqueen.

What about pyhra? She Doesn't seem to be based of a fairy tail, does she?  No not really. But. BUT. She does resemble some people from greek and roman mythologie. Remember Athena guys? Now I'm pretty much an expert on this,  since I litteraly learn this at school, so Let me tell you that Pyhra does very well resemble her. She's excellent at fighting, good at tactics and pretty, but most of all, her design resembles fire. Athena is not really the godess of fire, but her rival; poseidon is the God of the sea. That is the closest I'm going to get.  There are some other possibilities though. She could also very well resemble a fenix with her flamecolored design. This would also be very interesting,  since she supposingly died in season 3.

Last but not least from the JPNR crew; rem. I really don't know what to think from this guy. I guess he's probably based on chinese mythologie,  but I have no clue.

I Said in the previous chapter that I would talk about the villains in this one but I've got to do some more research on them,  so I decided to do the teachers first.

Firstly, ozpin. I've decided that since I keep calling him Ozwald for some reason, he's based on the wizard of oz. Now of course there is more to it than that. Aspen is extremely intelligent and is the head of a secret orginisation and school. He Doesn't seem to have much fighting skills at first,  although we see that this is not true in the last episode.  He Doesn't like to get his hands dirty and always wears green. Next to that is one of his most trusted friends,  Glynda goodwitch,  who obviously resembles the witch of the good witch of the North from the wizard of OZ.

Then we have professor Peter port,  who gets his name from the tale Peter and the wolf and told the class in one of the episodes that he captured a beowolf in his younger years.

Dr. Bartholomew Oobleck I have no idea of, but after some searching I found out that his name is based on the story:  Bartholomew and the Oobleck.

Okay, that is it for now. Next time I'll do the villains and supporting characters. This list will hopefully be a little shorther though. After that I'll upload a list of the real refrences.  Good bye!
