I promised to make a chapter on this and now may just be the time before all my hopes get shattered or proven on the 22th of october. Enjoy these 3 rwby theories!
Theorie #1: the yin to yang
I've previously stated that Raven is the opposite of yang. Her eyes being red all the time, while yang's are only red when she's angry. Maybe Raven's will turn purple when she gets angry, who knows? But is Raven really the Yin to Yang? Could someone else possibly be her counterpart? Someone related to her maybe?
What if I told you that the person we're looking for is someone who has accompanied our heroes from the very beginning of season one: Jaun.
I know what you're thinking right? How? Why? Are you crazy? On that last question I can answer yes, but the other ones need a bit more explaining.
From the beginning Jaun has shown to be a promising character. He is anti-social most of the time, clumbsy, wants to prove himself and we can assume he has a very loving mother, since he talks about her a lot in season one. He makes up for his lack of fighting skills by staying positive and trusting his team. He has a huge aura what makes me even more excited to see his semblance and has shown us that there is more to him than we thought. Hey, and if the great Pyhra Nikos has a crush on you, you must do something right, right?
Yang on the other hand has proven to be a real dare devil; affraid of nothing, a party animal and an overall powerhouse. Completely the opposite of Jaun. So where am I going with this? Well, let me explain the true meaning of yin and yang for a moment.
Despite what people commonly believe, yin and yang aren't just each others opposite. There is a part of yin in yang and a part of yang in yin. Yin can not excist without yang and yang without yin, as peace and war. They are like a cause and reaction.
Yang and Jaun are opposites, but the balance is schifting. While Jaun is getting more confident and stronger, Yang seems to have lost all hope; having lost her arm, her mommy issues and an identity crisis. No wonder she was such a downer in the last episode.
Also, but this theorie is getting really out of hand, they could very well be related. They both have blond hair (and we don't really see that color that often) and a similar bodyshape. I don't know guys, it would be kinda awesome though. But hey, that's just a theorie. A RWBY THEORIE. (Terrible reference)
Theorie #2: pyhra's power
In her final moments Pyhra litteraly took an arrow to the knee or better yet: an arrow to her heel. A direct reference to the greek hero Achilles, who died young, fighting for fame and was said to be unkillable until he got hit in his heel with an arrow.
However, my theorie has nothing to do with that.Remember the moment that Cinder shot Amber? The aura transformation had already begun, so what if Pyhra actually did get a part of Amber's powers? She, being the only one knowing this, thought that she was the only one capabele of stopping Cinder. If you compare that fight with her previous ones, it seems like she indeed got stronger. It can also be that she has been holding back this whole time, but I'd rather believe the former.
If what Ozpin told us is true, than has Pyhra given that part of the fall maiden's power to the last person she thought of before she died. Being ruby in this case, who tried to safe her.
So, if my theorie is correct, it's interely possible that ruby has some of the fall maiden's power. Even better, this could explain her powerful entrance at the character trailer. She has been walking around with that power for far longer than Pyhra did, so she probably has more experience with it now. Maybe that explains what was going on with her cape?
Theorie #3: Penny's luck
Pyhra is probably dead forever, while Ozpin is probably still alive. I hope with all my heart that Torchwick is still alive, but it's very unlikely. But what about Penny? She's dead too right? What if I told you you're wrong.
Penny is a robot and robots can't die. Penny could be rebuilt by Ironwood and she probably will if he gets the chance. She sees him as her father and told ruby that he loves her very much.
The only problems that I can think of right now that standher rebuilt in the way are 1) The possibility that atlas doesn't give Ironwood the premision to rebuilt her, because of the argument Cinder made. (Why would they have to dress a robot up as a normal citizen? ) and 2) she could lose her memory if she would be rebuilt. Therefor not recognizing ruby and her friends, maybe even seeing her as her enemie now. This would certainly make for an interesting arc.
I think this is a wonderful theorie. It opens up so many story possibilities. Penny could even get some upgrades; making her even more badass and hilarious. What do you think? Do you want penny back?
More speculations/ what I hope to see:
- Hopefully Torchwick comes back and if not; I want neo to take revenge in an epic battle against ruby.
-I want to see Jaunes semblance.
-I want Weiss to stand up against her dad.
-I want Crow to make more bad jokes and possibly kill some more robots.
-yang should meet raven and be happy again.
-a new awesome themesong
- Nora should kick some butt
- Ironwood repearing Penny
-MORE ZWEI
That dog is amazing.Anyway, leave your thoughts down in the comments and I'll see you next time.
