Chapter 3

'A/n: that's Jakes big wolf form but his marking are more dark blue and he's much bigger and only has one tail.'

Star's P.O.V.

"Come on Star!! Wake up!" I heard Jake yell as I slowly opened my eyes to look at him while I slightly glared at him. "What do you want?" I asked him, sitting up in my bed as I let out a sigh while I rubbed my head. "We have to go on those jobs you got yesterday. Oh! And don't forget that Team Natsu is coming along with us." Jake said a little too excited for the morning as he wagged his tail while he gave me a huge smile. "How can I forget? I had a death glare competition with the Master." I told Jake as I got up from my bed and made my way to my closet while I felt my long hair hit the back of my thighs. I had already packed everything I needed for these missions so all I have to do is take a shower and meet Team Natsu at the guild. I got out a pair of shorts that reached mid-thigh, a black sleeveless shirt with small ice patterns on it and my knee length combat boots then went to the shower. After my shower I put on everything then grabbed my cloak that was hanging on a coat rack and put it on. "Shadow Dragons Transportation: Fairy Tail Guild." Me and Jake hopped into the shadow lands as I Iet out a sigh while we appeared on the second floor. "I see your up early." I look to the side and saw Master standing next to me while I nodded my head at him, waiting for the rest to come. "Hi! So you're the third Master of Fairy Tail?" Jake asked Master as Master nodded his head while facing Jake. "Yes I am, what is your name?" Master asked Jake as Master smiled at him while Jake pointed his paw at himself. "I'm Jake! I recently joined the guild a few years ago." Jake said as he turned into his human form making Master jump in surprise while he looked at Jake with wide eyes. "Jake has the ability to turn into a huge wolf and into a human with wolf ears and tail." I told Master as I turned towards the door, waiting for Team Natsu to come while Master nodded his head. "That's a very unique gift you got there Jake." Master complimented as Jake did a closed eye smile while he tilted his head slightly. "Thanks!" "They're taking too long to get here. Jake, let's go we're leaving. I don't have time for this." I told Jake as I began to walk down the stairs not sparing a glance at Master while I made sure I had my jobs in my hands. "Wait! Star! Can't we wait a little longer!" Jake yelled as he was still on the second floor while he leaned over the rail. "No, now le-" "Hello Star." I looked up and saw Erza standing in front of me while she had a lot of luggage in a wagon behind her. "Mhm, at least you came early." I told Erza as I turned around and went back up to the second floor, knowing that Erza would stop me if I tried to leave. We waited a few more hours and one by one Team Natsu finally came to the guild with all their stuff in their hands, but I wasn't in the mood since they were all late. "Good you're all here, now lets go. We've already wasted so much time with your late arrival." I told them coldly as I walked out the guild with Jake next to me in his human form while he had a chesire smile on his face, his hands behind his head. "U-um Star?" I heard Wendy ask as I looked down at her while I tilted my head a bit. "Yes?" "W-who is that?" Wendy asked as I looked to were she was pointing and saw that it was Jake who looked butt hurt that she didn't rememebr him. "Awwww~! Miss. Maiden of the Sky already forgot about me!!" Jake cried out as he hugged Wendy, making her blush slightly at the contact while her eyes widen a bit in realization. "It's Jake, he has the ability to change into a human also a huge wolf then in his tiny form." I told her as she hugged Jake back with a smile while Jake smiled down at her. "Oh I'm sorry that I made you cry Jake." Wendy apologized as she furrowed her eyebrows while Jake pulled away from her. "It's ok! I wouldn't have recognized myself either." Jake said as he laughed a little while I smiled a little but it vanished quickly. 'Jake always had a way to make others who are sad smile even if he just met them. That's a weird gift he has. Even it sometimes works on me.' "Hi! I'm Happy!" "Hi Happy! I'm Jake!" Jake said as he walked up to Happy while petting Happy on his head. "So where did you find Jake, Star?" Gray asked me as he came next to me while I continued to look forward. "In the forest, I was near death till he came out and helped me get to Fairy Tail. I tried to make him leave but he's a stubborn little shit and told me that he would always stick by my side just to make sure I was safe and what not." I told them as I got on my tip-toes and ruffled Jakes hair while he smiled like the idiot he is. "Oh! I almost forgot!" Jake yelled as he grabbed my shoulders and looked me in the eye with a serious look on his face while I raised an eyebrow at him. We stopped walking, making the rest stop and look at us while we stood there for a few minutes before............he thwacked my forehead. "Ow! What was that for?!!" I yelled at him as I rubbed my head in pain while I glared at Jake who was frowning down at me. "Tthhaatt! Was for pushing yourself yesterday and almost dying!" Jake yelled as he turned around looking away from me while crossing his arms over his chest. "How'd you know?" I asked him, still rubbing my forehead as I frowned a bit at him while I tilted my head to the side. "Romeo told me how this man-" Jake paused as he went next to Gray and wrapped his arm around Gray's shoulders while he pointed at me. "-had to carry you back to the guild because youu passed out cause of the injuries you had." Jake said as he had a dark aura around him but still smiled at me while I shivered slightly at the aura around him. "Tch, whatever lets just hurry up to the train station." I told them as I glared at Jake making his smile grow bigger while he let go of Gray and walked near me. "Urg...trains......whyy!" Natsu yelled as he covered his mouth while his face turned green. "You still have motion sickness Natsu?" I asked Natsu as I raised an eyebrow at him while I side glanced him. "Yep he still does but don't you too?" Lucy asked as she shook her head at Natsu then looked over at me with a confused look while I nodded my head at her. "Ye- " "Yeppp! She gets really bad motion sickness but if she has something cold next to her or with her then she'll be fine." Jake said, cutting me off as he smirked at me while he glanced over to Gray which made me glare at him. "Well, looks like your sitting next to me." Gray said as he walked next to me with a small smile while I only nodded my head, still walking to the train station. Gray thinks that he can just wiggle his way in after what he did but no, I still haven't forgotten what he said about Aloura and Ella yesterday. 'He had a lot of nerves bringing them up. But, what if he's right-oh it doesn't matter my death was already set in stone when he showed up.' "You ok Star?" Gray asked as he walked next to me while I sighed deeply. "I'm fine and I don't usually apologize but I'm sorry for punching you." I told Gray, still not looking at him as I clucthed my hands tightly while I felt him shake his head. "No, you shouldn't apologize to me. I should be the one apologizing to you. You were right about me having no right to talk about them when I didn't even know them." Gray said as he had a guilt look in his eyes while he looked down at the ground. "Well if it makes you guys feel a little better, I'm glad you guys came back but this doesn't mean that it changes my personality." I told them as I glared at them slightly while I had a small blush on my face. All of Team Natsu smiled at me but Jake was grinning like an idiot while he slid towards me with his fists in front of him as he had sparkles around him. "Awwwww~ Has Star gone soft~" Jake teased as he poked my cheek from under my cloak while I had an irk mark on my head. "Shut up and go back to your tiny form." I told Jake, slapping his hand away from my cheek as I gave him a small glare while he gave me a cheeky smile. "Yes ma'am!" Jake saluted as he changed into his tiny form while he landed on my head. "So Star! What have ya been doing these past seven years!" Natsu asked as he smiled at me while he walked next to me. "Nothing really just going on jobs and training." "Yea! Star trains A LOT like twenty-four seven everyday!" Jake yelled as the others looked at me with wide eyes while I raised an eyebrow at them. "What? I have nothing better to do so why not train?" I told them as I saw Erza walk towards me while I looked at her with an eyebrow raised. "Just don't over work yourself pass your limits Star." Erza said, placing a hand on my shoulder as she gave me a stern look in her eyes while I looked down at the ground slightly. 'Well death is waiting for me ahead. So why not train so I can protect everyone I care about.' I looked down sadly making everyone worried as they tilted their heads a bit while I saw Jake giving me a worried smile. "I know Erza. I'll be more careful." I told her as we made it to the train station while I heard Natsu hold in his barf. "Urg.....why do we have to take the train.." Natsu grumbled as he covered his mouth with his hand while he looked over at us. "We only have to ride the train one time, then the rest we could walk." I told Natsu as I patted his head slightly while he shakily looked over his shoulder. "Y-yay." Natsu said with a weak smile as he held his head low while I shook my head at him. "Nine tickets to Flowerville." I told the guy as I pulled my cloak back slightly so he could see my face, but that was a mistake since he gave me a cocky grin. "You know, your pretty cute. What do you say when I'm on my break we have some fun." The guy said as he smirked and handed me my tickets while I scrunched up my nose in disgust. "Tch, I'm not interested in a pig like you." I told the guy in a harsh tone as he sat up slightly with a glare while I glared back at him. "Has anyone ever told you not to flirt with another mans girlfriend." I suddenly felt an arm wrap around my waist, making me freeze and tense up slightly while I looked up to see who did that only to see that Gray was the one who put their arm around me. "Tch, sorry." The guy said as he turned around to help the other customers while I looked at Gray. "I could've handled that Gray, but thank you." I told Gray as I grabbed his wrist and pulled his arm off of me while he had red in his cheeks. "Sorry about that and your welcome." Gray said as he scratched the back of his head while he gave me a small smile. "Lets go." We both nodded our heads as we boarded the train with the others behind us while I let out a small sigh. When we got to our seats, there wasn't enough room to fit all of us in one area, but I didn't care. "Me and Jake can sit behind you guys." I told them as me and Jake sat behind them while Jake got up from his seat. "I'll join you guys." Gray said as he sat next to me while I gave him a confused look. "Remember you said that you needed something cold to help with your motion sickness." Gray told me as I nodded my head while I moved a bit so he can sit comfortably. "Star, I can use my magic to stop your motion sickness if you want." Wendy offered as she held her hands up with a smile, but I shook my head 'no' while I held up my hand to her. "You'll need all of your strength for when we fight. Gray's here next to me and something cold helps with my motion sickness." I told her as I ruffled her hair while she smiled at me. "Alright if your fine with it." Wendy said as she smiled at me while she went back to her seat with the others. The train started to move which made me and Natsu almost hurl our stomachs out while my face turned pale a bit. "Urg...." I laid my head on Grays shoulder as I clutched my stomach tightly while I closed my eyes to try and ease my motion sickness. "Gray, you think you could let off some cold air?" I asked Gray as I groaned slightly while Gray nodded his head and began to let his magic radiated off of him. "Thanks, I'm gonna sleep now." I told him as I closed my eyes, unaware of the nightmare waiting for me.
