Star's P.O. V.

'Ngh, god my back and my sides hurt. What happen yesterday?' I tried to sit up but I hissed in pain and grabbed my head as I shut my eyes while I groaned a bit. 'God damn headaches!' "Star! Are you ok?!" I look beside me and saw Gray in just his boxers while he looked at me with a worried look. "Yea, I'm fine and your clothes." I told him in a monotone voice as I gave him a bored look while he started to freak out. "How do you feel?" Gray asked as he quickly put back on his clothes while I side glanced him. "I'm ok. Just headaches is all, nothing I can't handle." I told Gray as I walked out the tent, only see Erza and Lucy already up while they gave me a smile. "Oh Star, I see your up. How do you feel?" Erza asked as both her and Lucy came up to me while I walked in front of them. "I'm ok." I told them with a small smile as I shut my left eye while I rubbed my head to ease the pain. "That's go-" "STAARRR!" I was suddenly tackled to the ground and when I looked up I saw Jake in his big wolf form while his huge tail wagged around. "I WAS SO WORRRIED ABOUT YOU! I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONNA DIE AND I WOULD HAVE TO LIVE ALLL BY MYSELF! YOU KNOW HOW LONELY I WOULD BEE!" Jake yelled as he had anime tears in his eyes while I sweat dropped at his action. "Jake......" I called as I looked up at him with a glare while his huge eyes looked at me. "Yes Star!?" Jake asked, oblivious to the glare that I'm giving him while my eye twitched slightly in irritation. "...GET THE HELL OFF OF ME! CAN'T YOU SEE I'M SORE!" I yelled at him as I pushed him off of me using my Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic on him to get him off of me while he fell to my right side. "Ohhhh hehe sorry." Jake said as he transformed into his human form and scratched the back of his neck while sitting criss-cross on the ground with a goofy smile on his face. "(Sigh) I swear I don't even know what to do with you anymore." I sighed as I rubbed my temples in frustration while he had depression waves around him but they disappeared instantly. "Ohhhh come on!!! You know you looovvveee mee~!!" Jake yelled as he gave me a bear hug squishing the right side of my face in his cheek while I closed my right eye. "Get off of me before I make you into a wolf popsicle." I warned as I made cold air radiate off of me while I felt him tense up a bit. "Ok! Ok! Warning heard!" Jake yelled as he let go of me while he had his hands up in surrender. "(Sigh) Can you please give me that bag Lucy?" I asked Lucy as I rubbed my temple while I pointed to a black satchel near a tree. "When did that get there?" Gray asked as he scratched his head in confusion while Jake shrugged his shoulders. "Sure Star, here you go." Lucy said, handing me my bag while I pulled out three other job requests. "Which one do you guys wanna do first?" I asked them as I laid down the three requests down on the ground while the others gathered around me. The first one was a request from a small town asking to get rid of some bear like monsters that have been terrorizing their village, they were offering about three thousand jewels for that job. The second one was about a missing little girl who got lost on the icy mountains when their family took a hiking trip, which is about a thousand jewels. The last one was that we needed to help this town with a dark guild problem, the dark guilds name was Black Death and they've been taking the towns peoples money and other pride possessions, also the cost is about two thousand jewels. "I say we take on the dark guild! This just got me fired up!!" Natsu yelled but everyone shook their heads no making Natsu pout while Gray pointed to another job request. "I think we should do the monster thing, it looks pretty easy and we could get to the other jobs quicker." Gray said as he smirked but I just sighed at the two idiots while I looked at the jobs. 'They're not thinking! They don't understand how if we wait to long on one job then someone could die!' "NO WAY PERVY POPSICLE! I WANNA TAKE ON THE DARK GUILDS!" "SHUT UP YOU STUPID PYRO! PLUS THE MONSTER THINGS WILL BE EASIER TO TAKE CARE OF FIRST!" "STUPID SLANTY EYES!" "ARROGANT FIREBREATH!" "ENOUGH! THE BOTH OF YOU!" Erza yelled as she hit both of their heads together while they groaned in pain. "Hey Wendy." I called as I looked at her, making her jump a little while she turned her head to me. "Y-yes Star?" Wendy asked as I motioned her to come near me while she moved closer to me. "Which job should we do?" I asked her, since she was the only one paying attention while Erza and Lucy were scolding Gray and Natsu. "W-well I think we should do the one with the little girl first. If we do the other jobs first there's no way of telling how long we will fight them. By the time we get done with the dark guild and monsters, the poor girl could be dead by then. So I think our best option is to do the little girl job then the dark guild and lastly the monsters!" I looked at Wendy in surprise at how she organized the whole thing while Jake gave Wendy a huge smile. "U-uh I mean if you want! I-I don't want to step over or take over this not that I'm tr-" "Wendy, Wendy it's ok. I actually like how you organized this and your right, if we wait then the little girl could might as well be dead let alone freeze to death. Good job Wendy." I told Wendy as I ruffled her hair and stood up, gathering all the other jobs then putting them in my bag while I looked over my shoulder. "Alright, lets go Team Natsu!" I told them as I followed the map, which was on the request to the mountains while the others stopped their bickering to look at us. "Huh?! Which job did you choose!?" Everyone yelled making me, Jake, and Wendy jump slightly while I composed myself as I held up the little girl flyer. "We're doing the little girl one, while you all were busy arguing and scolding, me and Wendy already decided how the missions are gonna go." I told them as I looked at the map while I furrowed my eyebrows together. 'The little girl is only wearing jeans and a jacket. She could die any minute and I intend to not be late.' "We're taking a short cut. Shadow Dragons Transportation: Icy Mountain!" I chanted as a shadow circle appeared in front of me on the ground while I looked at the others then jumped into the shadow lands only for my feet to come in contact with snow. "I-its f-fr-freezing here!" Lucy said through chattered teeth as she hugged herself to stay warm while Wendy nodded her head. "C'mon Lucy it's not that bad!" Natsu told Lucy as he smiled at her, but Lucy shook her head while she took out a sliver key that I knew. "Open Gate of The Clock: Horologium!" Lucy yelled as a puff of smoke surrounded her while I sighed at the familiar clock. Once the smoke cleared up around us, Horologium was there with Lucy inside of him. "I'm staying in here it's too cold. Wendy do you want to come in here? The lady asks in worry." Horologium asks for Lucy as they looked over to Wendy while Wendy looked a bit shy to say yes. "I-if that's alright." Wendy said as she shivered slightly while Lucy nodded her head. "Wait, here Wendy." I told her as a shadow orb came near me while I stuck my hand in the shadow and pulled out two blankets. "Here, this'll keep you guys warm even if you come out here." I told Wendy, giving her the blankets as I smiled down at her while she wrapped one around her body. "Thank you Star! Wow I feel warm already!" Wendy said as she went inside Horologium with Lucy while Wendy gave Lucy a blanket. "Thank you Star. The lady said." "Your welcome Lucy and Wendy now lets find the little girl." I told them as they all nodded their heads while I looked up at Jake. "Jake, do you want to go ahead?" I asked him, already knowing his answer as I tilted my head a bit while he smirked at me. "You know I do! I'll howl if I find anything!" Jake said, transforming into his huge form as he dashed off into the direction where we were going while I furrowed my eyebrows a bit. "Where's he going?" Gray asked as he looked at Jake run while he stood next to me. "He usually goes ahead of me. To get down the surroundings and see if he can find anything." I told Gray as he nodded his head while I felt Erza place a hand on my shoulder. "That's a good friend you have there Star. Don't lose him ok." My shoulders tensed slightly as I took in what Erza said while I looked down at the ground with a frown. 'That's what I'm afraid of Erza. The reason why I didn't want Jake to get close to me was because every person who was so close to me was killed.' "I know Erza. I'm trying." I told her as I whispered the last sentence while my hair was covering my eyes. "Well lets go find this little girl!" Natsu yelled as he slammed his right hand in his left fist while Happy flew up next to him. "Aye Sir!" Happy said as he and Natsu had a determined look while I nodded my head. "Yea, lets go." I told them as we began walking in the cold snow looking for the little girl.
