Chapter 21

Star's P.O.V.

'I glared as I looked around, trying to find any light in this dream. 'Damn it! What the hell happened? Was it Rabo? Did he hurt the others?!' "Hello Star~ My, it looks like you've gotten yourself in a trap~" Rabo said as he came out from the darkness while I glared daggers at him. "I swear!! If you touched them-!" "Now, now, not every bad thing is my fault~ It was some guys not me~" Rabo said as he looked slightly hurt by my words while he held his non-existing heart with his hand. "Tch, what do you want?" I asked him as I got into a fighting stance while he smirked at me. "My~ You already want to fight me~ I guess you really are eager to die~ And don't worry~ When you die, I'll take good care of that wolf fr-" "YOU LEAVE JAKE OUT OF THIS!!!" I yelled as I quickly made an Ice dagger and cut Rabo's cheek while he jumped back from me. "Wow~ You actually cut me~" Rabo said as he wiped the blood off his cheek then licked the blood off his thumb while he smirked at me. "I guess one little fight won't hurt~" Rabo suddenly disappeared out of my line of vision while I began to look around for him in the fog. Suddenly, I felt him kick my back and punch my cheek making me fall on the ground while I glared up at him, growling slightly at him. "Too slow~" I growled louder as I disappeared into the shadows then appeared above Rabo. I dropped to the ground and had Rabo in a choke hold while I took out my ice dagger and stabbed him in his stomach making him wince in pain, but then he began to laugh like a mad man. "Star!" 'Uh? Natsu?' "Times up~" Rabo said as he backed away into the darkness, holding onto his wound while I frowned in anger.

"-tar! Hey! Wake up!" I heard Natsu yell as I slowly opened my eyes while I saw Natsu's face close to mine. "Natsu.......stop shaking me so much. Your making my head hurt." I told Natsu as I sat up from the ground while I held my head. "You ok?" Natsu asked as his face turned into a glare while he stared intensely at my face. "What?" I asked him while I winced in pain as I felt a throbbing pain on my temple. "Sst? Ah, what happened?" I asked him as I put a hand on my head while Natsu still looked mad. "Damn, those guys really hurt you. Your cheek is even swollen. Now I won't hear the end of it from Gray." Natsu said as he looked at my cheek, touching it slightly which made me wince in pain while he pulled his hand back from my cheek. 'That was probably Rabo when he punched me!' "Hey! Elfman is fighting that Bacchus guy! You better watch before it's over." Natsu said as I saw him and Carla leaning on the edge while he smiled down at me. I stood up from the ground as I groaned in the pain while I watched Elfman and Bacchus fight. "Didn't think he'd fight Bacchus." I told them as I watched Bacchus and Elfman fight while I rubbed my temple in pain. "Yea! It's not fair!!" Natsu yelled while I saw Bacchus reaching for his bottle as he drank from it. "This is bad." I told them as I crossed my arms while they looked at me in confusion. "What do you mean?" Carla asked as I frowned slightly while I continued to look at Bacchus drink his drink. "Earlier he was fighting sober, now that he's gonna drink his heart out, he'll be even more powerful." I told Carla as we watched Bacchus chug down his drink while Carla looked at Bacchus in shock. "Here we go! It's happening folks! Bacchus's down some fighting fuel!" "Drunken style, eh?" Yajima asked as I smirked slightly while I leaned on the edge. "Wow I wanna try some too!! COOOL!!" Jason yelled as I groaned at his voice while my head began to throb in pain. Bacchus got into his fighting stance as Elfman started his Take-Over Magic while I smirked a bit at this match. As Elfman was taking over, Bacchus charged at Elfman, hitting him multiple times in a blink of an eye while he let out a drunk laugh. "So many!" Carla said as she looked at Bacchus in shock while I nodded my head. "It was so fast!" Natsu said as Bacchus turned towards Elfman, laughing like a mad man while I smirked slightly. "Uh oh! Bacchus may have been buzzy, but he did not see that one coming!" Chapati yelled while the dust cleared around Elfman as we saw him in his Lizard Take-Over. 'That's his form of armor against Bacchus.' Bacchus ran towards Elfman once again and began to attack Elfman endlessly. "Do you think he will hold out?" Carla asked as she looked up at me while I nodded my head. "Yea, Elfmans got this." I told Carla as I put back on my cloak hood while Natsu was cheering for Elfman. I looked down to see that Porlyusica was trying to wake up Wendy, but Wendy was still asleep. Bacchus continued to hit Elfman multiple times while Elfman continued to take all of the hits. 'Even though I hate you for taking my spot, I know you can do this Elfman.' "And the blows come raining down! This is more than a simple fight, but an ultimate showdown of guild! Will Bacchus wear himself out?! Or will it prove too much for Elfman!? It's too close! I just can't call it!! Who will be left standing?!" Chapati yelled as the dust cleared around Bacchus and Elfman while Bacchus fell to his knees first then Elfmans Take-Over Magic wore off, falling to his knees also. Both gasped for air, tired from their fight while the crowd was on edge on who was going to win. Suddenly I could hear Bacchus laughing as he stood up from the ground while I frowned slightly. "That's right! I woonnn!!" Bacchus yelled as he threw his hands in the air while the crowd went wild. "He may be shaking! But Bacchus has risen to his feet!" Chapati yelled as I glared slightly while I gritted my teeth together. 'Come on Elfman! Get up!!' Suddenly, Bacchus slowing began to fall onto the ground on his back while he looked up at the sky with a smirk. "And Bacchus is down!!!! The winner is Elfman! Team Fairy Tail A scores ten points! Which puts them into the double digits with twelve!" Chapati yelled as Elfman let out a war cry while I smiled slightly at him. "This manly man is the cause of Fairy Tail's resurrection! What an upset! Elfman beats the odds and snatches victory from the gods of defeat!" Chapati yelled as the crowd went wild for Elfman while Natsu smiled at Elfman for winning. "Yea! Hear that?!" Natsu yelled as he waved his arm around while I looked at Elfman with a smile. "It's amazing! Yay Elfman!" I jumped slightly as I heard Wendy next to me while I sighed in relief that she was ok. "Now child, shouldn't you get back in bed?" Carla asked as she looked at Wendy while Wendy smiled at her. "I'm fine! And it's all thanks to Grandeeney." Wendy said as she smiled slightly while we looked at Porlyusica. "Didn't I tell you not to call me by that name. So Natsu, about these humans." Porlyusica said as she looked at Natsu with a serious look while Natsu and Wendy nodded their heads. "Raven Tail's gonna pay!" Natsu said as his fist was clutched tightly while I frowned slightly. "Who was there, past tense. That seems weird." Wendy said while I was slightly confused, but all I know is that Raven Tail was responsible for this and they were gonna pay. "There was one before you, Natsu brought her in." Porlyusica said as she gave us a serious look while my eyes widen lightly. "They're going after her?!" Wendy yelled as she looked at Porlyusica in shock while I growled slightly. "Lucy?!" Carla yelled as I turned away from them while I slammed my fist down on the balcony, breaking it in the process. "If Raven Tail wants to start something then I don't mind kicking their asses." I growled slightly as I turned back around while I looked at Natsu. "What's wrong? Why that ghastly expression?" Porlyusica asked Natsu as she looked at him with a questioning look while Natsu growled a little. "Raven Tail's dirty tricks are really making me mad." Natsu said as I glared slightly while Wendy nodded her head. "Me too." Wendy said as she frowned at bit while I also nodded my head and growled slightly. "Isn't their Master a relative of Makarov?" Carla asked as she looked at Natsu while I looked down at her and nodded my head. "Yea. His son.-" "Laxus's dad." I told her as I frowned slightly while Porlyusica looked at me. "What does that have to do with this?" Porlyusica asked as she fully turned towards me while I shook my head. "I don't know, but it's definitely personal." I told Porlyusica as I looked down where Ivan was at while I glared daggers at him. "Come on, they're probably going to bring Elfman to the infirmary from his fight. We wouldn't want to worry them." I told them as I turned away from Ivan while they nodded their heads and began to walk back inside. "Aww~ Those men didn't hurt you~" I growled softly while I turned towards the end of the tunnel as I felt Rabo's presence in the shadows. "If you know what's best for you, I'd get away from here." I threatened as I heard him chuckle darkly while I felt his presence get closer to me. "So feisty~ And ordering your Ma-" "Shut up! You're not my damn Master!" "Star!" I gasped slightly as I looked behind me to see Natsu looking at me with a smile while he came up to me. "Come on! Hey? You ok?" Natsu asked as he looked at me with a worried look while I looked back at the tunnel only to find out that Rabo was gone. "Yea, lets go." I told him as we began to catch up to Wendy and Porlyusica while Natsu gave me a slight nod. "Are you sure you're ok Wendy?" I asked Wendy as she smiled up at me with a determined look on her face while she nodded her head at me. "Mhm! I feel all better and I'm ready for the Games!" Wendy said as I gave her a smile while I began to sulk a little. 'I guess I won't be participating this year after all. Man!' "Um? Star? Are you ok?" Wendy asked me as I nodded my head slowly with a fake smile that she couldn't see while I had depression waves all around me. "Oh yea, I'm fine." I told Wendy through gritted teeth as I nodded my head at her while I chuckled slowly. "The child is a little upset that Makarov didn't put her in the Games." Porlyusica told Wendy as I had an irk mark on my head while Wendy looked at me with a sad look. "If you want I could drop out-" "No, no. (Sigh) I guess I'll have to wait till next year. This is your moment to shine and show the other guilds what you're made of Wendy." I told Wendy as I pulled my hood back a bit so she could see my small smile while I gave her a small nod. "Don't worry Star! I won't let us down!" Wendy said as she hugged my waist, making me go stiff for a second till I wrapped my arms around her. "I know you won't." I told Wendy as we smiled at each other while I saw Natsu, Porlyusica, and Carla smiling at us. "Come on! I bet Elfman is already in the infirmary all beaten up! Lets go!" Natsu yelled as he ran off, along with the others while I chuckled and shook my head at them. "This touching moment won't last much longer~" I frowned slightly as I stopped walking when I heard Rabo's voice in my head while I clutched my hand tightly. "Once they find out that you are nothing but an evil wizard who is hiding behind some worthless fairies~ They'll surly hate you~ My~ You truly are pathetic~" "Shut up! You're wrong! I'm not an evil wizard and I'm not hiding behind them! I'll take you head on!" I yelled in my head as I looked down at the ground, glaring a bit while I began to shake slightly. "Soon~ Those close to you, that are precious in your heart will die~ And you'll be all alone~ With me~" I gripped my head as I began to get a headache from him talking into my head while I gritted my teeth in anger. "Not before I kill you! I will protect them! You come near them or even lay a finger on them, then I will have no mercy on you!" "A-Ack!" I yelled as I gripped my head tighter and closed my eyes tight for a bit while I leaned on the wall next to me. "It will happen~ Soon~" "What is the matter child?" I looked up as I saw Porlyusica standing in front of me with a worried look on her face while I heard Rabo chuckled darkly, his presence disappearing again. "Just bad headaches that's all." I told her as I breathed in and out while I moved my body away from the wall. "It was him again, wasn't it?" Porlyusica asked as she gave me a frown while I nodded my head and began to walk ahead of her. "Lets go, we wouldn't want to keep them waiting." I told Porlyusica as we headed to the infirmary while Porlyusica gave me a slightly nod.
