Chapter 45
Simon's POV
A Year Later....
Demi and I finally earned enough money to move into a bigger house. It's right next door to the One Direction boys and Taylor Swift, all of whom are good friends of ours. Also, Demi and I are expecting our first child. It's amazing to be honest. Given my age, it's a miracle I was able to produce enough sperm to produce a fetus. We don't know the gender yet because Demi's only three weeks pregnant. We'll have a handle on it soon enough. Demi wants a girl and I want a boy. Though, whatever we have, I'm sure we'll be happy.
While I am excited to be a father, I'm also terrified. Being a father is such a blessing that not everyone gets to have. Given my history, I just don't want to mess it up. The last thing my child needs is a father who slips back into his old nasty habits. My child is going to grow up healthy and happy in a stable home environment. They are going to be protected, loved deeply, and a pathway to a successful future. Demi and I never had the chance to go to college, but we want that for a child. Though, our child could easily want to pursue a career in the arts in Hollywood. Whether happens, we'll be there every step of the way.
