-Carmen's POV-
As we all stepped inside, I surveyed our temporary home.  This was the first time any of the four of us had been inside.  Everything looked so clean and polished, as though it were all brand new.  Maybe it was brand new, who knew.

"If you're all staying here, you'll have to share rooms."  Mom informed us.  "There's only 3 bedrooms, and Mark and I are sharing one of them already.  You can decide how to divide up the other two rooms."

"I wanna be with Carmen!"  Amari rushed to me and grabbed my arm.

"Well, I guess I'm with Aya, then."  Sapphire didn't necessarily sound disappointed, but she certainly didn't sound happy about the roommate that had been given to her.

"The bedrooms are to your right, by the way."  Mom motioned to a door to our right.  We headed towards the door.  Because I was the first one to get to the door, I got to open it and hold it open for everyone else as they walked in.

We ended up in a room with two more doors: one to the left, and one to the right.  Amari reached for the door on the left, so Sapphire opened the door on the right.  Aya walked into the room with Sapphire holding the door open.  She followed Aya inside the room after Aya had gotten inside.

"After you."  Amari stood in front of the door to hold it open and bowed before looking up at me, a goofy smile plastered on her face.

"Thank you."  I laughed and bowed back.  I entered the room.  A moment after I had stepped inside, I heard the door close behind me.  I turned around to see Amari behind me before I turned back to our room.  It would take some adjustment, but this was our new room now.
