-Carmen's POV-
I didn't get what Sapphire's deal was with us having another teammate. She could help us, for heavens sake!

"Well?" Aya asked. "Come on!"  We all gathered around her, ready for her to guide us back to our camp.  She started walking in the direction she had said our camp was in, and the rest of us followed.

I couldn't help but be glad that we all had helmets- we were kicking up a ton of dust with every step.  If it hadn't been for the helmets, we probably would've been choking on it by now.  But then again, if it weren't for the helmets, we would probably be dead before we could choke on the dust.

"Why is it so dusty?"  I asked.

"Well, you know how this is the 'red planet', right?"  Amari pointed out.

"Yes..."  I replied slowly, unsure where this was going.

"It's not actually red."  Amari explained.  "The red part is just dust that's collected over time.  If we kicked up enough of it, parts of the planet might turn gray."  I looked down and kicked up some of the red dust.  Sure enough, Mars was a silvery-gray color.

"Let's just hope nobody has dust allergies!"  Aya joked.

"We're wearing helmets, it won't affect us right now anyways."  Amari pointed out.

"I was joking around.  Don't be so serious."  Aya replied.  Amari did tend to take jokes pretty seriously sometimes, even if she knew they were just jokes.  She needed to learn to lighten up sometimes, but somehow, this didn't seem like the best time.  Honestly, I felt like Aya should be taking the situation more seriously.  If she wasn't serious enough, she could kill herself.  But still, it might be a good thing to have a jokester around.  She could help lighten the mood a bit.
