chapter 9: new girl new troubles

(12 weeks later)

"June 14, 1995" the guy on the radio says as my alarm clock goes off to wake me up from a good night's rest. Once it stopped ringing I rose out of my bed and wiped the "sleep" away from my eyes, as I head to the restroom to get cleaned up. As I am in the restroom my new cell phone B.D got me begins to ring, so I wash my mouth out and go answer it. "Hello?" I say in a very dry tone, "who this is?" After I ask who it is the person the phone says "What up bro this is J-Rock... You need to get over here A.S.A.P I have to show you something." Once I get off the phone I hurry up and get dressed. As I begin to head downstairs I see B.D and tell him good morning. After he looks at me and says it back I walk out the door. Since I don't feel like walking all the way to J' house I go ahead and borrow one of the whips to drive.

On my way over there my cell rings and when I look at it, it says my boo LaNisha is calling, so I pick it up to see what she needs. When I ask her what's up she responds nothing and asked me what I was doing. When I tell her I'm on my way to J-Rocks house she say ok and tell me that she will see me later. As soon as I hang up the phone I see LaTae and J-Rock standing outside as I begin to pull up to his house. Once I park the car I get out and walk over to them. "What's going on my niggas?" I ask as I approach them. That's when J-Rock points across the street and tells me to look. When I look in the direction he is pointing I see this fine ass female across the street moving into the house with her family. Now of course she was mighty fine, but she was still no completion for my baby LaNisha.

As we are posted outside just staring as her every move, she finally spots us and begins to walk across the street. "So what's up boys?" she says as she approaches us. When she finally gets eye to eye with her all we could do was stare because she was looking real sexy in that little shirt and those little shorts she had on. While my homies are staring I decide to be the more mature one and introduce myself. "Hey little mama what's good my name is L.J." After I say that she looks at me up and down and says "hey boo my name is Tamika."

After she tells me her name we begin to stare at one another, but that silence was soon broken when LaNisha, NaTonya, and Tina walk up to J-Rock's house. "So what's going on here boys?" Tina asked as they approach us. That's when J-Rock looks up and says "oh nothing at all we were just introducing ourselves to the new neighbor." When he said that LaNisha walks up to me with this evil look in her eyes gives me a hug and a kiss and says "hi I'm LaNisha and these are my home girls NaTonya and Tina." After a small moment of dead silence and mean looks exchanged between LaNisha and Tamika, she finally says bye and walks back across the street.

As soon as Tamika left LaNisha looks at me and says "damn nigga you staring mighty hard at her I see, but it's cool though cause if you don't watch out you will be one less LaNisha if you get what I'm saying!" When she says that I give her a hug and a kiss and let her know she is my one and only baby. After I say that she says she knows and gives me another kiss. While we are kissing we are interrupted by J-Rock saying "ok, ok stop this caking bullshit and let's go inside and chill for a minute."

As we are in J-Rock's house just chilling and watching television I decide to take LaNisha to J-Rock's room in the back so that we could have a little private time. As I am walking hand and hand with LaNisha to the back room I open the door and sit her down on the bed. While she is lying down on the bed I am on top of her kissing her on the neck and caressing her body. While I am doing that we are interrupted by J-Rock's little sister Mesha, telling LaNisha her mom called and she needs to come home. When Mesha left LaNisha begins to sit back up, but since I wasn't ready for her to leave I lay her back down. That's when she looks at me and tells me she has to go, but I decide not to pay her any attention and just continue to kiss her. "Come on baby just stay a little while longer. It's not even late." I say while caressing her body. That's when LaNisha begins to get mad and says "damn L.J get up I have to leave I will chill with you tomorrow!" That's when I push her away from me, get up, fix my clothes, and walk out of the room. Once I get to the front I sit down on the couch. When LaNisha comes from the back she tells NaTonya and Tina it's time to go, so both of the give J-Rock and L.T a hug and a kiss before walking out the door. Before they leave LaNisha tries to give me one before she leaves, but since I'm mad I just turn my head.

About an hour passes after LaNisha and them have left and since we aren't really doing anything I tell the boys that I will see them later because I'm a little tired. As I am walking out of the door and down the driveway I see Tamika across the street emptying some boxes. That's when I go across the street to help out. "Hey little mama you need any help?" I ask as I am approaching her. After I say the she looks at me and shakes her head no. since she does that I give her my hand so that I could help her up off the ground. As she begins to stand face to face with me she looks me in the eyes and says "damn it's too bad you are taken cause you are hella sexy!"

After she tells me how sexy I am I put my arm around her waist and say "she aint gotta know about us!" That's when she smiles and gives me a kiss. Once we are through kissing I grab her by the hand and tell her to come with me to the car. As we are walking to the car I can't keep my hands off of her. When we get up to the car we go ahead and hop in the back. As we are getting in the back I lay her body down as I begin to kiss her all over her body.

While Tamika and I are doing our thing in the back seat my phone is constantly going off. Since I already know who it is I decide not to answer it, but after the tenth phone call I look at my phone and see a private caller coming through. When I see someone private is calling I go ahead and answer it. "Hello?" I say in an out of breathe tone. After I say that there is a short pause on the phone and then I hear LaNisha's voice ask me what I am dong. As soon as I recognize her voice I hung up the phone as quick as possible and continued to do my thing.

As time went by I hear a knock at my window, so I sit up and look out the window. Since I see J-Rock and L.T I roll down the window and ask them what they want. "Say dawg yo girl knows something is up cause she just called B.D and he said you weren't there. So now she's on her way back over here with my girl and L.T girl!" J-Rock says. After he says that Tamika and I both rush to put our clothes back on, but the time was cut short when I look up and see all three of them making their way down the street. From that moment on I knew it was on and popping. As she begins to approach the car she looks at me and says "I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew yo trifling ass had yo piece up in something! I can't believe yo dirty ass is doing this shit to me! Why L.J? Just tell me why?" When she asked me that question I get out the car putting on my shirt and pulling up my pants. After I do that I walk up to her and say "well maybe if you were satisfying my needs I wouldn't have to get it from someone else!" After I said that the tears begin to flow, but I didn't really care at the time, so I told her to save them tears for a rainy day because they don't faze me. I guess when I said that she got mad, so she pushes me and walks up to the truck. As she is approaching the truck she leans in the car and tells Tamika to come out. That's when Tamika looks at her and says "look chick I don't have time for the relationship drama, so talk to yo man and not me!"

When she said that LaNisha got even madder, so reaches in the car and pulls Tamika out by her hair. After she did that LaNisha began to kick the shit out of the girl and that's when NaTonya and Tina had to grab her and hold her back. While they are trying to restrain LaNisha from doing anymore damage she begins to cry and yell out "why did you do this to me?" While they are holding her back I walk up to her and tell her to stop acting childish. After I said that she breaks away from their grip and slaps me, so hard my face begins to tingle. When she did that I was shocked and without knowing I what I was doing I slap her back, making her fall to the ground crying. When I did that J-Rock and L.T bum rush me to hold me back because they didn't know what I was going g to do next.

As NaTonya and Tina pick her up she begins to cry even harder while holding her face. While NaTonya and Tina try to comfort her J-Rock and L.T let me go so that they could go check on her. That's when my heart turned cold and ii get even madder and say "man forget yall then... I don't need yall... I'm out!" After I say that I got in my car and drive off as Tamika slowly makes her way across the street.
