chapter 37: one more task

September 18th, three months since our last encounter with the Latin Kings. We just had to lay low for a while so that we wouldn't get busted, but our quest still isn't over. We still have to get Mr. Valdez. Lately he has been like a little church mouse since his boys are gone.

Once I wake up I call my nigga L.T and ask him if it's going down tonight. That's when he tells me we are making our move on Valdez tonight at nine o'clock. After we hang up the phone I walk to the kitchen and see my girl cooking a nice hot meal. "Good morning baby are you hungry?" she says. After I say yes she fixes me a plate with all the works. Once I finish eating I sit down and watch television with my kids. While we are chilling on the couch I hear a knock on the door. When my girl answers it she calls me to the door and tells me that there are some men at the door for me. Once I see who it is I tell her to go sit down while I step outside with these men and talk to them. After she walks off I close the door behind me and one of them stick out their hand and say "hi I'm Detective Lopez and this is my partner Detective Lewis." Once they tell me they are detectives I reject their hand shake and stare at them with mean mug upon my face. That's when he smiles and says "that's fine sir I understand completely I just wanted to let know we have our eye on you have a good day!"

After he says that they leave and I instantly rush back in the house and call B.D to let him know what just happened. When I tell him what happened he tells me not to worry and that he has everything under control. Once I get off the phone I sit back on the couch and chill with them for awhile, but once the clock hit five I tell LaNisha we need to start getting ready. When we finish getting washed up and dressed we head over to L.T's house and get over there around 5:30 and there are already a few cars in the drive way.

Since the driveway was full we park on the side of the roadand get out of the car. As we are knocking on the door a new comer named Darius answers it and tells me to go ahead and come in. When I walk in I see L.T, so I ask him what we are waiting on. When he tells me B.D I just sit down and chill until he arrives. After a good three hours pass B.D finally shows up, so we all head out to the cars. Once everyone is situated and ready to go we head over to Mr. Valdez's mansion on the west side. As we begin to approach his house we see two men guarding the gate, so DeRay drives up and shoots them both to their body falls. When he does that we drive right on through the gate.

When we get up to the house we knock on the door, but no one answers. But we know he's there because we see both of his cars and his limo out front, so I decide to just shoot the lock until the door opened. Right when it opened we ran through the house looking for him. We finally find him on the second floor in his office sitting at his desk. "I knew you all would be coming sooner or later." Mr. Valdez says as we are walking in. After he says that B.D tells DeRay and L.T to go hold him down, so that he wouldn't make any sudden movements. Once they do that B.D grabs Tina by the hand and says "do you see this man Tina? This is the man who killed J-Rock... Your former love and our close friend! So Tina what should we do with this man?" When he says that NaTonya and LaNisha burst out and tell B.D to kill him. That's when Tina begins to shed a few tears and say "why? Why did you kill my baby?" After she asks that question there was a dead silence that fell up the room awaiting an answer from Valdez. The silence was broken when he looks at Tina with a smirk upon his face and say "because I felt like it!" That one comment got Tina heated, so she grabs my gun from my waist and before I could stop her she walks up to him place the gun to his temple and pulls the trigger blowing his brains right onto the floor.
