chapter 39: L.J gets busted

"L.J baby get up and answer your phone." LaNisha says as she rolls over to go back to sleep. When I pick it up it's my niggas LaTae and DeRay telling me to meet them outside in about five minutes, so I get out of bed and get dressed. After I do that I grab my gun and let my girl know that I'm about to leave before I leave. As I am walking down the stairs I see my boys outside waiting on me. When I approach the DeRay hands me a backpack and tells me to hold the goods. After he hands me the bag we walk over to 34th street and post up in our usual spot.

After a good twenty minutes pass our boy "Crack head Larry" comes up to us and say "hey boys do yall have the good stuff for me?" That's when I walk up to him and say "hell yeah I got that good for you." When I approach him he reaches into his pocket and pulls out five bills. As he is counting the money I recognize something shinny, but I decide not to pay any mind to it. When he hands me the money I tell DeRay to hook him up. Next thing you know while DeRay is handing him the drugs Larry grabs his hand and says "freeze you three are under arrest..." Once he says that all I could think of was not going to jail, so I take my gun out and hit Larry across the face. When he hit the ground we jetted down the street as quick as possible.

While we are running the cops are tailing us from behind, but since we are a head of them we lose them when we turn into this alley. That's when we stop running for a second so that we could catch our breath. Once we catch our breath we decide to split up and as I am walking down the alley I hear police sirens getting closer and closer, so I keep running until I get to my apartment.

When I run inside my apartment breathing heavily LaNisha begins to ask me what's, so I come straight out and tell her what's going on. After I told her what was going on we hear banging at the door and also someone say "open up this is the police!" While they are banging on the door LaNisha tells me to go to the back and take the boys with me. Once I get in my kids room LaNisha opens the door and says "Why the hell are yall banging on my door?"After she says that the policeman says "look we know LoJarvis is here so just move aside and let us do our job!" That's when they push her out of the way and begin to roam through the house looking for me, but LaNisha is steady trying to stop them. At least until they tell her to stop or she will get arrested as well. Once they say that one police man opens the door to my kids room and sees me playing with them. "Freeze LoJarvis and step away from the kids!" an officer yells while pointing his gun at me. Since I don't do it they decide to walk in the room, so I decide to take a chance and bum rush my way through them, but they ended up catching me and take me down to the ground. While they were holding me on the ground I was not going to go out without a fight. As I am making it hard for them to put the cuffs on me they are constantly telling me to stop resisting. Since I am not listening they begin to hit me in my back with their nightsticks. While all of this is going on I look up and see my girl and kids crying, so I deiced to stop fighting and just let them put the cuffs on me. Once they get the cuffs on me they pick me up and walk me down to the police car. Right before they put me in the car my girl tells me she loves me and that she will call B.D for me, so I say ok and tell her not to worry.
