chapter 27: fresh start

After my girl and I had our little moment outside we go back in the house. As we walk through the door she gives me a hug and a kiss and tells me she is tired so she is going to bed. After she tells me that I let her know I'm going to watch television for a little while and then I will be in there.

While I am watching television I happen to fall asleep. During that short period I hear someone come in and turn off the television, so I instantly open my eyes and see Mesha standing over me in her bra and some boy shorts. "Hey baby how about you come to my room for a minute?" she says. After she said that I instantly reply "look Mesha I'm not yo baby so stop that shit right now!" That's when she sit down next to me and begins to caress my head and kiss me on my neck. Once she sees that I am enjoying it she says "are you sure I'm not your baby?" Now trust and believe me it was feeling good, but I'm not feeling her. She may be my baby mama, but I do not have to fool with her so I tell her to get off of me. When she finally got off of me I go straight to the room. As I am walking in I see my baby sexy self sleeping soundly, so I go and lay down right next to her. When I lay down she turns toward me and puts her arm around me, so I wrap my arms around her and give her a kiss on the forehead and gradually fall asleep.

January 12th the man on the radio says as I am waking up around eight o'clock. Since I am going to check on that apartment today I go ahead and get my clothes together before I hop in the shower. Once I get out I realize my girl is still asleep, so I wake her up and tell her to get ready. While she is getting ready I head to the front of the house to chill with J-Rock. After about thirty minutes go by my girl finally comes out, so I tell my nigga bye and that I will see him later. When we walk out the door we walk straight to our new car and get in. While I am starting up the car I look at my baby and say "I hope you're ready to start a whole new life!" Then I give her a kiss and take off and since the apartment is still on this side of town I didn't have to drive far.

As we approach the complex we say a little prayer before walking inside. When we walk inside this man behind the counter says "hi, I'm Mr. Daniels how may I help you fine young people?" That's when I look at him and say "Hi, Mr. Daniels, I'm LoJarvis Willson and this is my fiancée LaNisha. We are here to view a few of your apartments." After I say that he say okay and lets get started, so he walk us around and shows us about five apartments, but the fifth one is the one that really caught our eye. It was this nice room on the third floor with two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a pretty big kitchen, a pretty big living room, and a very nice view of the city.

Once we saw that we were took it was perfect, so we tell Mr. Daniels that was the one. After we tell him that he says great and tells us to follow him to his office. When we get to his office we discuss the rent for the apartment. After about twenty minutes the decision we come to was $275 for this month and next months rent. With it all added together it comes out to $550, which isn't that bad at all. So I go ahead and pay the man up front to get it out of the way and then I shake his hand and tell him thank you.

Before we get to leave I ask Mr.Daniels when will we be able to move in and when he says tomorrow we can't wait. So I thank him again and go ahead and leave. Since the place was already stocked with furniture all we need to do is get our things, some food, and move in. Once we arrive at J-Rock's house I tell him the good news. After I told him I called B.D and told him the story as well. That's when he tells me not to worry about anything and whatever I need he will get. After I get off the phone I can't wait to move in tomorrow, but on top of that I really can't wait to get away from Mesha!
