chapter 13: Nine & L.J beef

(2 months later)

"Come on L.J its time for school" BD says. Once he walks out the room I get up and stretch. After I stretch I head to the bathroom to get cleaned up. When I am through in the bathroom I head to the closet and see what I'm going to wear for today. After looking for a good five minutes I decide to wear my black wife beater black, Sean John jeans, and my black Timberland boots. After I got dressed I put on my jewelry I grab my wallet and my cell phone and head to the car.

As I'm walking out to the car I grab my gun just in case something pops off today. After driving around for a good twenty minutes I finally arrive at the school. While I'm parking the car I see my homies L.T and J-Rock waiting on my along with their girls NaTonya and Tina. Once I get out the car we walk to the cafeteria where we see nine and his boys, along LaNisha. As we are approaching them I tell them all hi and post up on the wall with them. "So L.J, where yo hoes at?" nine asked with a smile on his face. When he asked that all I do is roll my eyes and walk off. As I'm entering the hallway I hear LaNisha call my name from behind. "L.J... don't trip on what he says... He's just playing. So what's up? I mean you haven't called me in forever. I miss you." LaNisha says. After she says that I let go of her hand and say "you got what you wanted... and here he comes. But I still love you though."

Once I finish talking with LaNisha I walk off because nine was calling her name. as I'm walking off I hear them arguing in the background while they are arguing I hear nine call her all types of names, and that makes me a little mad so I turn around and say "dawg, what's wrong with you? Ever since yall got back together... you've been talking down on her. And taking her for granted... I mean if she took me back, I wouldn't treat her like I did. I would treat her way better then you do!" after I say that nine draws a crowd by getting loud with me so of course I get loud back. While we are fussing back and forth I get tired of that so I push him into one of his boys. After I push him I try to walk off but out of nowhere he attacks me from behind and right then and there we begin to fight. At least until the administrators and a few of my friends break us up.

Once they have us separated, I'm mad as hell, so I'm talking mess still. That's when he looks at me and says "nigga I aint even gone sweat you, cause I still got yo bitch!" when he says that I stop talking and I break free from the people that are holding me and I walk out of the school. As I'm walking out of the door to my car, J -Rock and L.T follow. While they are following me they ask me where I'm going and If I'm coming back, but since I am so mad I just get in my car and drive off.

As I'm driving around I decide to stop by my old house, when I get there, it looks like a crack house. The wood was old, and the windows were broken; it just looked completely different from when I lived there before. After staring at the house from my car I decide to walk in. as I'm walking through the house so many memories come back to me. As I'm walking up to the part of the house where my mother died, a flash black from that whole night comes back to me. While I'm recapping that tragic event, I find myself crying on the floor where she laid.

After I finish coping with that night I go ahead and leave the house. As I'm walking out I get a call on my cell. When I look at it, I see that it's LaNisha, so I pick it up to see what she wants. When I picked up the phone she asked me to come pick her up from the school, so we can chill for a while. That's when I tell her okay and that I'll be there in about fifteen minutes. As I'm pulling up to the school, I see her waiting in the parking lot, so I pull up beside her so that she can get in. "so what's up ma? Where you trying to go?" I say as she closes the door. That's when she puts on her seat belt and tells me to go to her house. While we are driving around in the car it's completely silent. I guess it's because it's our first time being alone since our break up.

Once we arrive at her house, I pull up into her driveway, and stop the car. We both get out and walk inside. "Go ahead and sit on the couch while I get changed" LaNisha says. After she says that I sit on the couch and watch a little television until she comes out. About fifteen minutes goes by and she finally comes out. When I turn around to see what she's wearing I couldn't believe my eyes. She had on a tight tank top and some really little red shorts.

As she comes and sits next to me on the couch I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. "So what's up ma?" I say trying to spark up some kind of conversation. When I said that she starts to move close to me and once we were side by side she wraps her arms around my neck, lays her head on my chest, and tells me how much she misses me. Once she did that I wrapped my arms around her and told her the same.

While we are sitting on the couch holding each other I can't help but think of all the wonderful times we use to have. As we are just sitting there chilling I lift her head up and give her a kiss. After we kiss she gets up and grabs my hand as she leads me to the back. When we walk in her room she lays me down on the bed and we start kissing like we were back together. Next thing you know things are back like they were as if we never broke up.

While we are lying in the bed doing our thing we both hear a knock at the door, so she gets up to answer it. While she gets up to answer the door I decide to get comfortable, so I take off my shirt and shoes while I wait for her to come back. As time passes I decide to go to the front and see what's taking her so long. "Say baby what's taking you so long?" I say as I am walking to the front. Once I enter the din I see Nine and LaNisha arguing. That's when I get mad and walk up to him. As I am approaching him Nine looks at me and says "what the hell is this nigga doing here?" with anger in his voice. That's when I tell him not to worry about it and just leave. When I tell him that he gets even madder and begins to get in my face. While we are arguing back and forth LaNisha is constantly pulling me back because I was about to hit him. Once he realizes that I wasn't going to do anything because of LaNisha he decides to punch in my lip forcing me to fall from the ground.

As I begin to sit up I feel blood dripping from my lip and that's when my anger builds up and the next thing I know we're on the floor going at it. While we are fighting somehow we end up in the yard and begin to draw a big crowd. As we are fighting tons of people were watching and some were trying to break us up, but neither one of us stopped until the police showed up. Once the police showed up four of them hopped out of the cars and broke us up. As soon as they got us separated I'm steady trying to get loose. They had to get three police officers to contain me. Once they are finally able to get the cuffs on me they throw me in the police car and drive me down town.
