Chapter 38 : Charlot

"Zero, samahan mo ulit ako sa mansion ha. Di kasi ako kumportable sa trainer ko. I already told to dad that I don't need to but he insisted. For me to be ready daw sa pamumuno ng Shera." Heather sweetly asked to me. Actually it has 3 days since she's asking me if I can accompany her. She said she's not comportable with Harley's presense. Her trainor, also her cousins... which I found weird.

Back then when were still a kid Heather and Harley was so close to each other. Theres no day pass na hindi sila mag kasama. And that make's me jealous. But looking at her right now, theres something wrong. She said she has an amnesia kaya hindi nya maalala ang mga nakaraan. At kaya daw sya laging sumasama sakin dahil she feel safe beside me which is wierd dahil sabi nya sakin nuon na kahit kailan hindi ko sya matatalo. Na ang hina ko daw for her to be her husband. Tandang tanda ko pa kung paano nya ko maliitin nun pero hindi ako natatakot sa kanya. I'm very eager to get close to her pero sya naman tong layo ng layo.

"Remember this, Woodsen! You can't won at me. I am the most powerful in here. No matter what you do, I will always win. And also, don't try to get any closer to me. When you think your strong enough to battle with me then lets see if you can. As if it will really happen. So dream on young man!"

I do everything to be strong enough for her. I even leave Shera High just to master my vampire ability at our city. But then when I came back theres no Heather that I want to fight with. Theres no Heather that waiting for me to comeback. 10 years had pass but then I'm still holding onto her promise. I know she didn't say a promise but for me it's a promise. She never wanted to say promise after all in some reasons that I don't really know. But when I met Ran... I feel something strage.... something that I can only felt towards Heather. The Heather that I used to know. Something strage feeling that I can't feel towards Heather right now. To the Heather I'm facing right now.

"What's wrong? Are you ok?" Tinitigan ko lang sya. And by just staring at her right now. I can clearly see that her eyes slowly turning into black.

"Who are you?"

It took a minute for us to stare at each other. I can see how her expression turn into shocked but then it turns into a smirked. Her eyes now is totaly black.

"You knew.. when?" She asked. I was just staring at her. It can't be. The crest. Nasa kanya ang crest and its glowing. So it means sya si Heather pero bakit? "Charlot.." she extend her hands at me signed that she wanted to shook hands.

"Who are you." I asked expressionless.

"Told yah! Charlot."

"Why?"  After I asked that, her expression turns into sad one. I don't know but I can see through her eyes that she's not happy. Though her lips forming a smirk.

"I need to."

I immediately run to find Ran. Why didn't I know? Just by looking at her alam ko na dapat na sya si Heather. But why?

"Hey men, san punta?" I looked at Cain who's now approaching me. He's with Lyndon and Lace.

"Do you guys happened to see Hea— I mean Ran?" Nag katinginan silang lahat at nag kibit balikat.

"We don't know. After she kicked Nate with full force she's nowhere to be found. Kanina pa nga namin sya hinahanap dahil nag aalala na kami. Ang kulit kasi eh." I brow raised after hearing what Lyndon said. Kicked? Worried? Why?

"Well." Napatingin naman ako kay Lace na nahalata siguro ang pag tataka ko. He raised his wrist showing a bracelet. Wait.... that's not an ordinary bracelet. That bracelet can stop an ability. And if someone wearing that bracelet force to used his or her ability, it can vanish. The ability can disappear and never be back. "As you can see, the three of us wearing this. So Ran too... at kanina sinipa nya si Nathan ng napakalakas. Nung una akala namin walang epekto sa kanya yung bracelet dahil sa lakas ng pag sipa nya kay Nathan but after she leave. We saw some blood drops. That we think, it from her wounds cause of that bracelet."

"A fucking bracelet." Dugtong ni Lyndon sa sinabi ni Lace. Napamura naman ako sa sinabi nila. The heck Ran? Really? Ang tigas talaga ng ulo mo!

"Wait men, why your here? Diba umalis kayo ni Heather?" Cain asked.

"No, no." Tumalikod na ko sa kanila at mag lalakad na sana ng mapahinto ako sa sinabi ni Lyndon.

"Dude, be careful with Heather." I smirked after what he said. Thought so. Alam na nya kung sino si Heather. After all, they are close to each other. Silang dalawa ang madalas mag kalaro nun. And he has an ability to remember anything especially Heather's face.

RAN'S POV

Napaupo ako sa may gilid ng puno dahil sa sakit ng likod ko. Yung braso ko ang may sugat pero yung likod ko ang sumasakit. Shit naman kasi to. Di kaya may back cancer na ko? Meron naman nun diba?

Habang nakaupo ako may nararamdaman akong nakatitig sakin pero hindi ko gaanong masense dahil di ko magamit ng ayos ang ability ko dahil sa bracelet na to. Pinag sawalang bahala ko nalang ang nararamdaman kong titig at pinag tuunan ng pansin ang likod at braso ko kaso isang nasusunog na dahon at halaman ang naamoy ko. Nang iangat ko ang tingin ko sa pag kakayuko nagulat nalang ako sa bagay na sobrang liwanag na papunta sakin.

Isang bumubulusok na apoy ang papunta sa gawi ko kaya dali dali akong dumapa at gumulong papunta sa gilid. Tumama ang apoy sa punong sinasandalan ko kanina at malalaglagan na sana ako ng puno pero bigla itong lumutang at pumunta sa nasusunog na gubat. Yung gubat nasusunog? The heck! Sino may gawa nito? Bago pa ko makatakbo papunta sa gitna ng gubat may humila na sakin paalis sa gubat.

"Ran tanga ka ba? Tatakbo ka pa talaga papunta dun?" Nathan shouted. Di ko sya pinansin at tiningnan ko nalang ang gubat na nasusunog. Who did this?
