It was the day before the party and I was freaking out, everywhere I went while I was in school someone was walking up to me asking about the party. That's it I was cancelling this shyt I thought as I walked out to Khalil's car, I was lost in my thought that didn't see Will and Staci standing by the car waiting for me.

"Dev." Will said snapping me out of my daze. I looked at him and Staci and tried to keep my cool, these clowns were really trying to test me.

"Didn't I make it clear to the other day when I beat your ass that I don't fuck with you Will? And Staci didn't I dump you now you got the nerve to be standing by my car." I said pissed.

"Dev that was always you're problem you are too hot headed, once you get pissed you don't want to hear nothing or nobody all you want to do is fight." Staci said rolling her eyes.

"Bitch stop talking because I can smell his dick on your breath." I said looking at Staci. "Now if you'll excuse me I got shyt to do." I said walking past them.

"Devin I'm gay." Will said as I was about to get in the car, I stopped and turned and looked at him. "Look here's the truth, the reason I showed up at Nico's house the other day was to apologize to him, I treated him like crap because of my own insecurities. Staci was the only person that knew because I..... when she told you I talk to her cousin that wasn't a lie it's just not a girl." Will said. I froze trying to process everything he was saying, there was no way Will was gay.

"Ya'll must think I'm stupid. Ya'll are just saying that so ya'll can come to the party, well guess what that shyt is cancelled and if anyone shows up I'm sending them to your house." I said.

"You know forget it Devin." Will said walking away.

"Are you really that stupid Devin? Why would I cheat on you I fucking love you, I'm sorry about lying about why Will was over there but he made me promise not to say anything." Staci said.

"Staci quit lying....... I'm still cancelling the party." I said feeling confused about everything. Staci didn't say anything she just pulled out here phone and started texting. Next thing I knew my phone was blowing up with text asking me if the party was really cancelled, I looked at Staci and she looked at me.

"Fuck that party Devin this is about you and me. I'm sorry about lying I really am, and I know I fuck up sometimes by worrying more about popularity than our relationship but baby, I'm trying." Staci said crying, I just looked at her and ran my hands across my face.

"Man come here." I said pulling her into a hug. "Don't ever fuckin lie to me again Staci, I'm not playing. Look it's going to take sometime for me to calm down so for now we're still broken up, I just need sometime to think." I said pulling away from her, she kissed me on the cheek and walked away.

I drove around without a destination and ended up in front of my parents house, I looked in the driveway and saw my mom's car but not my dad's so I figured it was safe to go in. I walked up to the door and tried to use my key but it didn't work. I don't believe this shyt they change the locks, I started to walk away when my mom opened the door.

"Devin?" She said looking at me.

"Ya'll really changed the locks?" I asked.

"Honey your father was really upset, I've tried to talk to him about it but you know how he is once he makes his mind up about something there's no changing it. Just give him some time Devin." She said sadly.

"So you just let him kick me out and change the lock, did you even try and fight for me?" I asked getting more and more pissed. She looked somewhere behind me and I turned to see my dad pulling up. He got out the car and walked right past me. "Pops." I said.
